Owner profile

Caroline Beadle

About the owner
My name is Caroline and I am married to Nick and we have a six year old and a 25 year old. I am a stay at home mum and enjoy renting our home out to people. I get real pleasure from renting our home out as we tend to get such wonderful feedback from guests and we have now been doing this for a while so we are getting a lot of returning visitors.

Year purchased: 2007

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We went on holiday with a group of families. One of my firends booked it and I didn't pay much attention - I hadn't been to the cotswolds before and was looking forward to seeing it. My friend had booked us into the Lower Mill Estate, & my husband and I ended up staying in Cuckoos Nest with another couple. The minute we arrived we loved the house and the location. The idea my daughter could run around, play and hear only the birds was amazing. We just couldn't believe our luck to be in such a wonderful place - when you pass people on the path they said hello and everything was perfect. The minute we found out the house was on the market we spent the rest of the holiday in the sales office arrangi to buy the house - it ended up being a very expensive holiday!

Unique benefits of the property
This is our home that we enjoy sharing with other people. We have put everything we need and enjoy in the house so it feels like home every time we arrive. We have indulged in a bit of luxury with bedding and finishing touches which makes it feel like we are being spoilt every time we arrive. We often go down for long weekends so my husband has installed broadband so he can work from home and enjoy some weekday time in the house with us. He also travels into London and with Kemble station 10 minutes away which takes you into Paddington in 1hour 20 minutes it is easy.
