Topsham has a long seafaring history and is famed for its historic buildings. It is also now well known as a centre for excellent food and drink; there are waterside pubs, stylish restaurants, a wine bar specialising in locally grown wines and local foods. For those who enjoy shopping there are specialist food shops, boutiques, an antique centre. Topsham is a beautiful place for walking and bird watching; there is an RSPB bird hide.
