Wrayside was built in 1914 on the top of a hill and enjoys panoramic 360 degree views on Lake land Fells, Cheviot Hills and the Pennines. The house is 600sq.m. and we have 14 acres of land. We offer 5 spacious en-suite bedrooms together with a private guest living room, dining room and a snooker room. Broadband access on the ground floor. We are growing our own vineyard and flowers including proteas. Your hosts are from France and Zimbabwe.

Prices are for the property per night in UK pounds.
B&B Petteril and Gelt = family room (connecting door). 2 adults and 2 children £150. Four adults £165 Petteril and Gelt = Family room (connecting door). 2 adults and 2 children £350. 4 adults £405.
Changeover day
Arrivals from 2-6 p.m. if later please advise. Departures by 9.30 a.m. (please inquire if different).
Notes on accommodation
Oil fired central heating. We have facilities for children (bikes, games, (covered) trampoline, swings, DVD and videos.

Sadly we do not have any ground floor bedrooms.

14 acres with outdoor furniture. Pond. Private tennis court. Barbecue.
Coast/Beach
Approximately 40 minutes drive.
Golf
Closest golf course is Carlisle, about 5 minutes drive from the house. There are more in Carlisle and Brampton.
Special interest holidays
Private salmon fishing. We offer 3/4 of a mile of private salmon and trout fishing on the river Eden with a Gillie. Day tickets are also available.
Travel
Newcastle 80 miles. Edinburgh and Glasgow approx 1.5 hours Liverpool 2 hours. Car hire is available in Carlisle.
Distances
We are 3 miles from Wetheral village. 5 miles from Carlisle. We have some very nice local pubs and restaurants within 5/10 minutes drive.
Further details
We have a village shop/post office. A lovely church. Tesco and the banks are 10 minutes away. The lake district is 45 minutes drive. Hadrian's wall 35 minutes. Gretna approx. 25 minutes. Being on the Scottish borders there are so many sites, castles etc to see in the area. And for the walkers the fells are lovely.

Concerning private fishing packages, a 30% non refundable deposit is required + the full payment of the Gillie (£90/day) at reservation. Two weeks prior to arrival the balance of your stay must be paid.
