This semi-detached 4-bedroom house in Broadstairs for 6 persons is a beautifully-restored seaside property providing a very comfortable base for the delights of the Kent coastline (sunbathing, boating, walking, surfing, fishing, etc) as well touring the countryside. The 3-storey property is situated virtually yards from the sea, encouraging early risers to enjoy fantastic walks along the empty sandy beaches. The best beaches in England at your doorstep. Stone Bay - only 100 yards from the house - has just been designated a blue flag beach, a prestigious int'l award for highest quality in water, facilities and safety. The town has its own charming cinema, excellent restaurants (Italian, Turkish, Thai, Indian). Classy pubs, The Lord Nelson (a block from the house) and The Charles Dickens (on the sea front) are minutes away and offer an traditional atmosphere as well as superb dining. Broadstairs has just been voted the 2nd best seaside town in England after St. Ives in Cornwall.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week (minimum rental period) in UK Pounds and include utilities, except where noted. Other times of the year are by request. A security deposit of £150.00 per week is required to make a booking. This is returned upon departure if there is no damage to the property. The final payment is due 8 weeks before arrival and subject to cancellation conditions. Non smoking.
Changeover day
Arrival and departure are normally on Saturday, but this is sometime negotiable depending on availability.

Notes on accommodation
New gas-fired central heating with a radiator in each room. New vinyl double-glazing installed throughout the house in Spring 2006. The house has full Sky TV, Sky Talk Unlimited Phone and Sky Broadband facility. This means tenants have use of SKY TV, broadband wireless connection to the internet and use of phone in the UK and to 10 international countries without any additional charge.
Outside
A small courtyard with outdoor table and chairs is in the rear of the house. A small barbecue grill is situated in the courtyard with easy access to the kitchen.
Coast/Beach
Broadstairs has seven magnificent sandy bays extending on each side of the town centre. Stone Bay is only a five minute walk from the townhouse. Two others nearby, called Joss Bay and Botany Bay, have recently been reported on the list of the best beaches in the UK along with Stone Bay.
Golf
The North Foreland Golf Club, an 18 hole course, with views of the sea, is only a mile from the house.
Travel
The new Kent International Airport at Manston, is only 20 minutes from the town with connections to a dozen European capitals.
Distances
Broadstairs is situated on the south-east coast of England between Margate and Ramsgate, approx 70 miles east from London. Broadstairs is more picturesque than Whitstable or Herne Bay and the neareby cathedral town of Canterbury is an interesting excursion.
Further details
Tesco's supermarket is a ten-minute walk away in the centre of Broadstairs which is fully served with a variety of shops. These can be frequented easily without the use of an automobile. In June, Victoriana is on full display for the Dickens Festival when locals have lovely recreations of dress from the period to the delight of visitors. Bohemian Londoners prefer to wait until August for the annual Folk Festival with banjo-pickin on every corner.
