The main bedroom is 23' x 17' with huge windows and a private balcony and an en-suite bathroom. The second double bedroom has an en-suite shower. The third bedroom offers bunk beds and an en-suite shower room. The lounge and dining area again have huge windows offering fantastic views. The property is equipped with television, video, very comfortable sofas seating 8 people. The kitchen has a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and large fridge/freezer. The large terrace is equipped with garden furniture in which to enjoy the stunning views.

The surrounding area is one of outstanding natural beauty including 1800 acres of National Trust land. Inland from Loe Bar is the County's largest freshwater lake and there is a wealth of wildlife. The property is spectacularly lactated yards from Porthleven beach with panoramic views from The Lizard in the East towards Mounts Bay in the West.
Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing.

About the owner
Steffi and I have been together for 16 happy years. We have a 12 year old son Oliver, 3 dogs (a black lab and 2 miniature schnauzers), and a cat. With the exception of the cat we come to Cornwall as often, and for as long as we can. The cat used to come too but he's too noisy on prolonged car journeys.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We decided to buy a property in Cornwall as we used to come so often and we really wanted to stay in a place that we'd made into a home for ourselves. We spent a considerable time looking and finally found Westward. It was quite a bit above our budget but the moment we stepped through the front door and experienced the breathtaking views we endeavoured to find a way to make it ours. Nowhere else had come close to matching Westward. The South Westerly facing side of the Lizard Peninsular is arguably the finest stretch of coastline in Britain. It gets the sun all day. There can be, at most, 50 properties along the 20 or so miles of it. Westward has to be one of the finest on it.
Unique benefits of the property
We have endeavoured to make Westward as comfortable as possible. All 3 bedrooms are en suite, there's Sky TV, wifi broadband, a fully equipped kitchen and a wood burning stove for warmth and ambiance. The views are like looking at the bay and the ocean beyond from the bridge of a ship. We've even got a pastry brush!
