This extremely comfortable detached house offers the perfect holiday accommodation, being approximately 1 minute's stroll from the Southbourne cliff top and miles of golden sandy beaches. Local shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants are a short walk away. The bedrooms are all on the 1st floor, comprising either 2 doubles or one double room and a room with a set of bunk beds. It is possible to add a camp bed to create further accommodation in this bunk bed room. One bathroom features bath tub with overhead shower head - the toilet is located separately next door. Downstairs the sitting room features a really comfortable and roomy L-shaped sofa, flat screen TV and Sky Plus box. The fitted kitchen is basic but with all the necessities, while the lovely adjacent dining room has French doors opening on to a large and pleasant garden containing garden table and chairs, a lawned area and a fantastic children's playhouse on stilts.

Sitting room - large L-shaped sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player and Sky Plus box.
Other: Front door opens on to small porch which is very handy for storing/offloading outdoor gear like beach buckets etc. Leads on to spacious hallway containing a piano and seating.

Notes on accommodation
Items like Internet and computer access are not provided as standard, but please discuss with the owners, as they may be provided on request. The house is ideal for families with children but please ask if high chairs or cots are required as they are not provided as standard. Small dogs may be accepted if they are confined to the ground floor of the house. Money will be deducted from the security deposit for failure to clean up after animals.

Outside
Attractive front garden features flower beds and a small lawned area. A side gate leads directly to the back garden that features a paved area with table and chairs to seat 4 comfortably. A lawned area is surrounded by attractive shrubs and plants, and a sun lounger. A feature of the garden is a fabulous forget-me-not-blue children's playhouse on stilts.

Coast/Beach
The house is located about 200 yards away - less than a minute's walk - from the cliff top at Southbourne with its glorious ocean view stretching from the Isle of Wight to the Purbecks. Watch the sunset from Cafe Riva (restaurant and bar), play crazy golf or go to the fantastic children's play area with sandpit, swings, climbing frames and slides etc. The golden sandy beaches below are accessed via a reasonably steep but easily accessed zig-zag footpath or take the lift down.

Golf
Golf course is located about 5 minutes drive away at Hengisbury Head (we are not golfers so we do not have expert information, but happy to find out more on request).

Travel
The house is accessed from Bournemouth Airport (15 minutes drive), Bournemouth Railway Station (10 minutes drive).

Distances
Essential amenities like supermarkets, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Bournemouth, with its pier, fun fair, Victorian gardens, and huge range of free summer holiday activities, is 10 minutes drive away or readily accessed by bus. Hengisbury Head, a beautiful seaside nature reserve, is 5 minutes drive away and ideal for cycling, fishing and walking. Historic Christchurch with its marina, ancient Priory and restaurants, 10 minutes away. The New Forest is also 10 minutes drive away.

Further details
There are endless things to do within easy striking distance of the house, from taking the ferry to the Isle of White from Lymington (45 minutes drive to the port), or just eating ice cream and watching the sun set over the ocean, from the cliff top at the end of the street. Seven miles of golden sandy beaches and a superb summer programme of activities provided by the local council - fireworks once a week, free kids activities etc - make this the perfect location for a really easy family holiday. Endless opportunities for the more energetic - cycling along the beach, picnics in the New Forest, boating and sailing, and fantastic indoor sports facilities in the event of bad weather.

Full payment required 4 weeks prior to commencement date of booking, 30% deposit required to secure the reservation. Security deposit of £200 to provided with balance payment - or in cash on arrival - to cover incidental breakages and damage.
