Beach Break is a stylishly furnished town house above Porthmeor Beach, with views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond, and west to Man’s Head and Clodgy Point. It’s only a two minute walk to the beach and a few minutes more to the harbour, shops, restaurants and galleries, Tate St Ives being the closest. With parking for two cars, central heating, and quality furnishings, the house is both convenient and suitable for holidays at all times of the year. The house is inspected and approved by the St Ives Hotel & Guest House Association.

Short breaks and reduced occupancy rates are considered during late Autumn through to early Spring.
On bookings of two weeks or more, a discount on the total rental is offered.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Friday with arrival after 3pm and departure by 10am. Changeover day can be varied during the winter & early spring.

Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms, a double and a bunk room both with fantastic sea and coastal views, and a twin bedded room. The beds are all of good quality and are prepared for you on arrival with duvets and attractive bed linen.
Bathrooms: Beautifully tiled bathroom with high quality white suite, comprising Villeroy & Boch hand basin & toilet & bath with hans Grohe shower/mixer tap. Separate shower room comprising a tiled Matki shower enclosure, Villeroy & Boch hand basin and toilet.
Kitchen: The kitchen is attractively fitted with a good range of units and slate flooring. There is a double oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Utility Room: The utility houses the combi-boiler to give hot water on demand. Clothes airer and storage.
Living Rooms: The open plan lounge-dining room is simply furnished in contemporary style. Restored floorboards, rugs, leather sofas, oak dining furniture & halogen lighting. A flat screen digital TV & DVD player radio/cd system., small library of local books & DVDs.

House is looked after by a relative who lives locally.
Beds are prepared with duvets & quality bed linen but please bring your own towels.

Notes on accommodation
Beach Break is a wonderful holiday home. Whether your thing is building sandcastles, surfing, fishing, walking the coast path or visiting the galleries and restaurants, the location of the house suits all. In addition, the guaranteed parking and easy access by car offers you opportunity to explore the other attractions of West Cornwall.

Outside
to the front of the property, there is an attractive decked area with balustrade surround & seating; ideal for watching the often spectacular sunsets. To the rear there is a secluded courtyard which was professionally landscaped in 2007 and has raised plant beds, garden furniture, BBQ & small shed for the beach/surf gear.

Coast/Beach
Several local beaches, closest is Porthmeor Beach less than 5 minutes walk.

Travel
Nearest airport is Newquay. Nearest main line railway station is St. Erth, on the Paddington/Penzance line with a wonderful small coastal branch line connection to St. Ives. St. Ives is just 5 minutes drive from the A30 trunk road making the major cities of Exeter, Bristol, and London easily accessible.

Booking notes
To book please check availability on the site and then email/phone to reserve. To secure a booking a deposit of one third of the rental rate is required. The balance plus £150 returnable security deposit must be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If the holiday start is less than eight weeks away, then full payment is required. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer or via PayPal.

We had a lovely week at Beach Break House - thank you for all the thoughtful touches at the property. The new bathrooms are really nice.

Beach Break is a lovely cottage and a great location. We found it extremely well equipped and comfortable. We did walk to Zennor from there and also following your tip went to Godrevy too.
