Bosuns Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed cottage set in the heart of the picturesque village of St Agnes at the head of Stippy Stappy, a row of 19th Century miners cottages. It has recently been redecorated and furnished to a high standard, with a welcoming open fire in the lounge, a large kitchen/diner and 3 spacious bedrooms upstairs. St Agnes is ideally located with 3 beaches in close proximity and Truro on the doorstep. It has a number of great drinking and eating pubs, 2 butchers shops, a number of grocers and a post office, a vibrant village in both summer and winter. The cottage is equipped for the enjoyment of families and couples alike with something for everyone in the local area.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday, for long weekends Friday - Monday.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with king size bed and a beautiful view up to the church. Bedroom 2 is spacious with two single beds. Bedroom 3 for our younger guests (or those reliving their childhood) bunk beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Large Victorian bathroom with bath, separate shower and wc. |
| Kitchen: | Small but perfectly formed, the kitchen comprises oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine as well as all the usual equipment needed to feed a hungry family if dinner out at the local pub doesn't appeal. Tea, coffee, herbs and spices are provided. |
| Living Rooms: | Cosy living room with open fire for those cooler evenings. TV, DVD and stereo are provided as are a large selection of books for settling down with. The dining room seats 6 comfortably with lovely views onto the sunny garden and patio. |
| Other: | We hope to equip the study with another TV and DVD to allow younger members of the party to have their own space. There is a large selection of toys for all ages and as well as a PlayStation. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen is included but is not changed during a stay unless specifically requested. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between tenants. |
Notes on accommodation
The cottage is suitable for children but please be advised that there is a small (shallow) pond in the garden and the stairs are steep. We will provide stair gates but parents are responsible for ensuring that they are properly fitted.
Outside
Pretty courtyard garden is accessible through and separately to the side of the cottage. It has an abundance of plants and a small pond (full of tadpoles in the spring). There is a large patio area with a table and chairs and also a BBQ. A shed provides secure storage for surf boards etc and a drying rack for wetsuits. There is a parking space adjacent to the cottage.
Coast/Beach
St Agnes beach (Trevaunance Cove) is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage, while Chapel Porth and Trevellas are an easy 5 minute drive away. Popular with surfers and sun bunnies alike the beaches around St Agnes are ideal for all tastes. The coastal path is ideal for those wanting some exercise reaching up and down the North Cornwall coast from the Beacon landmark.
Travel
Newquay airport is only 23 miles away and a train is available direct to Truro from many major rail stations. Use of a car though is highly recommended.
Distances
Truro 9 miles, Newquay 12 miles, Falmouth 16 miles, Eden Project 28 miles, Lands End 35 miles, St Ives 22 miles - all recommended for a day out. Brochures and reviews from other guests and ourselves are available in the cottage.

Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 30% deposit. Full payment must be received 2 weeks prior to stay.
