The farm is set in 80 acres of delightful Exmoor countryside on the Devon and Somerset borders and is blissfully peaceful, yet not isolated or remote. The approach to the farm overlooks Lynton and the sea, and the South West Coastal path is just a stroll away, linked by a foot path which runs through part of the farm. Enjoy the magical setting, and peaceful location of Wilsham Farm, overlooking Watersmeet and the East Lynn valley. Relax in the drawing room, swim in the pool or sit in the conservatory and enjoy the wildlife whilst waiting for the red deer to arrive. Walk across the farm to the coastal path and enjoy the spectacular cliffs of the North Devon Coast, or explore the beautiful Exmoor countryside, of undulating moors and steep wooded combes.
After a wonderful day exploring the location, return to the farm for a swim in the heated indoor swimming pool, which is enclosed under glass so you can still enjoy the magnificent views.

Notes on accommodation
Start the day with our traditional farmhouse breakfast, served in the conservatory looking out on the wildlife. The herd of red deer visit the lawn most mornings and are a wonderful spectacle.
The swimming pool at Wilsham is enclosed under glass and heated throughout the year. It is a marvellous way to relax after a day spent exploring the delights of the North Devon Coast or the wilds of the Exmoor National Park.
In winter you can relax by the open fire in the drawing room and enjoy a home baked devonshire cream tea, or in the summer sit on the terrace and watch the wildlife whilst the sun goes down.
Accessibility
Although we don't have any ground floor bedrooms we do have a stair lift for those who need a little help. The bedrooms are all large enough to accommodate a wheel chair although not specifically designed for the disabled. On the ground floor there is easy access to all guest areas for all wheel chair users.
Outside
Wilsham Farm is set in 80 acres so there is plenty to explore. The swimming pool is always heated and 40 feet long and 8 feet deep giving a plenty of room for a good swim. There is a terrace outside the swimming pool and another outside the conservatory and both have stunning views over the valley and the moor beyond. The footpaths take you down to Lynmouth via the East Lyn River and Watersmeet, or across to the South West Coast path which runs along the highest and most spectacular cliffs in England.
We welcome dogs which can be kept in the large kennel outside, and they will enjoy the wide open spaces and the glorious walks.
There is good fishing in the East Lyn and daily permits are easily available. The river is just below the farm.
