This holiday rental house is situated in an elevated position in Salcombe, with outstanding 180 degree views over the town to Snapes, Batson and South Pool creeks and the main anchorage. This semi-detached house has been renovated, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The property features a pretty lawned, terraced garden with summerhouse. This house is an 'upside down' house with the living area upstairs in order to benefit from the stunning views. The living room leads to sliding doors on to the fantastic balcony. There are 3 bedrooms; two double (1 with one wall glazed with shower cubicle and basin) one with bunk beds and single bed. The bathroom is finished to a high standard with tiled floor, roll top bath, shower cubicle with 'rain' shower, basin, WC. The garden is terraced with the top terrace including an elegant, heated paved dining area under green oak structure housing the balcony. There is a lawned garden with mature shrubs and a deck terrace and summerhouse.

Changeover day
Our changeover day is Saturday and we require guests to have vacated the property by 10.00 a.m. New guests can enter the property at 2.00 p.m. If possible we will be flexible about the period you would like to book the property for.

Outside
The garden is terraced with a heated dining terrace, a lawned area and a lovely deck terrace at the bottom of the garden which is ideal for catching the afternoon sun. The summerhouse in the garden includes a kitchen with fridge and sink and also has a sofa and table and chairs. There are plenty of seating areas within the garden and comfortable garden chairs to enjoy the mature landscaped garden and also the fantastic views of the Salcombe estuary and countryside.

Coast/Beach
Salcombe is famous as a centre for sailing, diving and fishing. The estuary has many sheltered, sandy beaches and is a base for walkers and others with a love of nature. There are beautiful beaches within walking distance from the property which are ideal for families. The beach at Bantham is popular with surfers and has stunning views to Burgh Island and Bigbury.

Travel
The nearest airport to Snapes Loft is Exeter which is approximately an hours drive. Use of a car is recommended for your stay.

Distances
The nearest main city to Salcombe is Plymouth which boasts many visitor attractions including a very popular aquarium. We would recommend a visit to the Eden Project which is approximately an hour and a half in the car. Closer to Salcombe are beautiful towns such as Dartmouth which has many lovely shops and restaurants and is well worth a visit.

Further details
Salcombe boasts stunning natural beauty and a mild micro climate. In addition, you can find many shops, good quality restaurants and art galleries. There is a supermarket in nearby Kingsbridge but Salcombe does have a very good butchers, bakers and deli.
