In a sheltered farm setting, a mile or two from Bude and the North Cornish Coast, this quartet of immaculately restored outbuildings exudes lightness, brightness and comfort. Oak floors are heated underfoot, plasma screens are in plentiful, there are oak kitchens, beds that electrically recline and the whole places oozes Cornish chic. Philippe Starck bathrooms are resplendent with white fluffy towels, beds are topped with super-soft pillows. Throughout are intriguing pieces of wood furniture. Children would adore it here, surrounded by pigs, sheep, hens, geese, goats, doves, a garden with a play-tower and a football area – and 26 private acres. In April 2009 Atlantic Cottages were awarded a Gold Award for Exceptional Quality of Accomodation and customer service by Quality in Tourism.

Prices are for the property(s) per week in UK pounds. Please contact us for prices if you wish to book a combination of cottages or a short break. All prices included parking, Egyptian linen, luxurious bathrobes, towels, heating. There is, of course, no charge to book by credit card.
Changeover day
Our normal changeover day is Saturday although outside of the Summer season we are flexible and can accomodate short stays. Arrival is after 4pm and departure is before 10am.

This cottage comprises two levels. The open plan living area is on the top floor over looking the picturesque village of Maramchurch. Downstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a second twin room and additional bathroom. Outside is a secluded seating area in addition to the main garden. This cottage is mainly over one level. The kitchen dining area, bathroom, twin room and lounge are on one level and two steps lead up to the main bedroom with en-suite. The lounge is easily converted to a third bedroom and this cottage can be booked as three bedroom accommodation. Outside is a secluded seating area in addition to the main garden. Notes on accommodation
This complex is four farm buildings which nestle in the centre of West Grove, a small working farm. Converted to the highest standard with oak floors, underfloor heating, luxury shower rooms and fully fitted kitchens, the owner has retained as much of the original features of the 350 year old cob and stone buildings. Atlantic Cottages is positioned 2 miles from the town of Bude and the coast. Crooklets, Summerleaze and Widemouth Bay are all beaches within a 5 minute drive.
Accessibility
Three cottages are spread over one level and have either one or two steps to the bedrooms. The properties would be suitable for people with limited mobility but not wheelchairs. Please call for further information.
Outside
Step outside and all is as beautifully maintained as in. The approach leads to manicured lawns and maturing borders.
Each cottage has its own patio area and the is a communal decked area with a barbecue for warm evenings. You can be as private or as sociable as you like.
There is a level playing area for games and an orchard with a large play tower with swings and monkey bars. You can wander down the farm lanes to look at the pigs, sheep, goats, horse and hens.
There’s also a communal shed for bikes and boards and a laundry room with Washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.

The Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club (surrounded by the town and the sea) is a challenging links course established in 1891. Excellent drainage enables the course to be playable throughout the year off regular tees and greens, making it one of Cornwall's finest golf courses.

Bude and all its facilities are a few minutes away. Bude has most shops, banks, numerous cafes and restaurants not to mention more than its share of surfing shops with the very latest merchandise.
These cottages are ideal to be booked as a group or in combination. For example if your a holidaying with your family and your parents, you could book Oyster and Periwinkle. Or for a family get together of 14-16, you could book all four cottages as Oyster cottage has a large communal dining area. The two one bedroom cottages can be booked for 4 adults as Abalone has a large dining area. Please call us directly to discuss the best combination for you.
