The 5* Manor House is in the heart of the village of Colyford in East Devon situated midway between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Grade II listed self catering cottage. There are many historical features still in place, including the original Jacobean galleried staircase and dog gates, inglenook fireplaces and a wealth of nooks and crannies, all of which combine to make this cottage so beautiful and individual. The property has a private car park, where there is ample parking for up to six cars. The gardens are a good size to both the front and back of the cottage and are completely enclosed. The property has a magnificent 26-foot country kitchen with an Aga and a huge dining table. There are two beautiful lounges complete with inglenook fireplaces. The main lounge has a fabulous wood-burning stove, original elm floorboards and deep window seats.

| Kitchen: | You'll find all of the cooking equipment you'd expect to find at home - including a microwave, fridge/freezer. There are two sets of crockery and cutlery and two dishwashers so that you don't have to wash up after every meal. |
| Utility Room: | There's also a practical utility room, for all of the dull but necessary domestic chores. There's a second fridge, washer/drier and a clothes rack. |
| Living Rooms: | Two beautiful lounges both with inglenook fireplaces, the main lounge has a wood burning stove and a huge corner sofa. DVD players, SKY TV, iPod dockers, extensive book, games and DVD collection. Wifi internet connection. |

All towels and bedlinen are included. The Manor House is cleaned and all linen changed weekly on a Friday. |

Coast/Beach
There are some beautiful beaches in the area, including Sidmouth, Branscombe, Budleigh Salterton and Lyme Regis, the closest being 10 minutes drive away.
Travel
If you're travelling by train, the nearest railway station is about 5 miles away at Axminster, which is on the London mainline. Exeter airport is 18 miles away. M5 motorway. A car is advisable.
Distances
We are in the heart of Colyford so a 2 minute walk to the pub, PO, butcher and general store. We are 2.5 miles from the coastal town of Seaton, 3 miles from the charming fishing village of Beer and 6 miles from Lyme Regis. Approximately 20 miles from the cathedral city of Exeter.
Further details
We are a 10 minute drive from Axminster where Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall has a local produce store and canteen, there are also many other great pubs and restaurants in the area.
