A little further afield are the spectacular Eden Project or Newquay, the surfing capital. From nearby Penzance you can take a trip by boat or helicopter to the Isles of Scilly.

10 minutes from Hayle with its 3 miles of golden sands on the North coast, and 10 minutes from Mounts Bay on the South Coast.
