As soon as my wife set foot in the cottage she hasnt stopped purring! We love it - from home to home. Thanks Lucy.
What a fantastic location - right in the middle of town but you would never know. We had such an enjoyable week.
Thank you so much for letting us stay at India Cottage. We will be in touch shortly to book a week at Easter and a week in July - we loved it!
Wow! I love your decor - can't believe the cottage is in the middle of town, its so quiet. Looking forward to coming back in the summer and enjoying the garden when the weather improves!
Owner profile
About the owner
We purchased the property in 2003 when India Cottage was a derelict warehouse for the former tea company which occupied the shop to the front of the property.
It has been lovingly restored, keeping all the old beams intact to form a gorgeous two bedroom property. It was transformed into a holiday let in 2008 beautifully furnished with all new interior and furnishings. Contemporary furniture blends beautifully with the old character of the cottage to provide guests with a luxurious place to stay.
We live about 1 mile away and although the guests are always welcomed personally by the owner and we are always available 24/7 if there is a problem.
All our guests have loved the cottage as you can read for yourself in the Visitors Book. Many have returned!
Unique benefits of the property
Guests are able to walk to restaurants, pub and along the riverside or up into the woods close by. Being situated close to the M50 access is easy to all local villages, towns and cities but also to enjoy the outstanding countryside which Herefordshire has to offer.
Many local activities are on offer including canoeing, horse riding, golf, tennis, swimming, and Go Ape in the Forest of Dean. Teenagers and adults both love it!
