Use of car easiest to reach Mortehoe but once you are there you could walk to all amenities! Train/National coach service to Barnstaple and bus from Barnstaple to Mortehoe. Plymouth is nearest channel port.

Mortehoe 2 minutes walk, 3 pubs, local store, post office/newsagent, tearooms, 2 good restaurants. Fish and chip shop.
Woolacombe 2 miles, all usual seaside attractions, pubs, cafes hotels restaurants, clubs etc.
