Glovemakers Cottage is a stunning luxury holiday cottage, all on one floor, that has recently undergone a complete renovation and modernisation. The original building was an ancient parchment and leather works that has been designated as a Grade II listing building. The cottage is part of an exclusive 2006 development comprising of six of the original buildings from the leather works. Glovemakers Cottage was originally two workshops that have been joined together to create a beautiful home. Glovemakers Cottage is close to Havant town centre with its local shops, Costa coffee, Waitrose supermarket, Saturday market and easy access to Chichester and Portsmouth. It is a short drive to Hayling Island, Bosham, Emsworth, Pagham and beautiful coast line.

| Other: | We provide a hairdryer and selection of books. There is an information pack in the apartment that contains a comprehensive list of things to do locally with local attractions and OS maps. The apartment is no smoking and we cannot accept pets. |

Outside
The garden is small and not suitable for ball games or young children playing outside on their own. It is lovely to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine or bite of food. The area outside of the cottage is not suitable for children to play.
Coast/Beach
10 mins drive from Hayling Island which has a selection of beaches and seaside entertainment. Pagham is about 15 min drive. West Wittering beach is 30 mins away which provides a large sandy beach. Selsey is about 30 min drive and has a large beach. You can walk to Langstone Harbour in about 15 mins, Emsworth is a further walk but lovely all year round with great pubs and restaurants.
Golf
There is golf in Hayling Island about 10mins drive from property.
Travel
10 mins walk from Havant train and bus stations with access to Portsmouth (8 miles) Chichester (9 miles) and London (1 hour 15 mins to London Waterloo). Southampton Airport is 20 miles from Havant.
Distances
5 mins walk from Havant town centre which includes a number of pubs, a large Tesco and a Waitrose supermarket. Emsworth, Bosham, Chichester, Portsmouth, Pagham, Selsey are all a short drive away. Emsworth and Chichester have some good restaurants.

There are two supermarkets in Havant, Waitrose and Tesco. Can you please note that these supermarkets close at 4pm on Sundays.
Booking notes
A deposit of one third of the rental fee is payable on making the booking. The booking will not be secured until the deposit has been received. The balance will be payable 6 weeks before the start of the rental.

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this cottage. It is a warm and comfortable place to be. It’s clean and it was even possible for us to take our son, who is disable and has a wheelchair. It is a great base from which you can explore the surroundings. There is much to see and enjoy in the area. Of course, spiritual places such as Avebury, Glastonbury and Stonehege also not be overlooked. Public transport is well organized and even wheelchair accessible. We found that not too bad, because we visited the cottage in May and especially enjoyed the environment and the tasty, inexpensive meal.The property is a must. Rudie Geus. The Netherlands
