Make your stay in the beautiful Somerset countryside memorable. Stay in our intriguing double fronted cottage in the delightful village of Cross (once home to Frankie Howerd) on the outskirts of the Medieval Town of Axbridge. The house is the old post office and is formerly part of the old coaching inn dating back to the late 1600's - why not stay in a little bit of history. Our house has four bedrooms (Sleeps 8 easily); a sitting room with open fire and flagstone floor, large kitchen/breakfast room and a dining room; complemented by a family friendly landscaped garden with seating areas, private courtyard, tranquil (covered) water feature and far reaching rural views. Nearby are the vibrant cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells; the beach at Burnham (20 mins); Wookey hole (15 mins); the wonderful Cheddar Gorge (10 mins) and Axbridge (<5 mins). There is much to see and do in the area for all the family.
