This beautifully maintained oak beamed lodge with living room kitchen/diner large conservatory is serenely located in a rural setting with two small private fishing lakes stocked with crucian/mirror/ghost carp, rudd, roach, tench. There is an abundance of wildlife in the woodland and on the water including ducks, geese, moorhens, herons, squirrels, badgers, rabbits with many species of birds including woodpeckers and kingfisher. Well maintained gardens add to the beautiful setting of Haydan Lodge with its own electric gates and private driveway. You can fish on the small lakes BBQ in the gardens or just chill out and watch the wildlife. There are superb walks around the area. You can "Go Ape" in Delamere Forest by swinging in the trees at the new "Go Ape" facility, explore Beeston Castle and Cholmondeley or watch the racing at Oulton Park.

Notes on accommodation
The lodge is suitable for families although absolute care must be taken with children around the small lake areas and the brook that runs through the land. Board games are provided together with a selection of books CDs and DVDs and videos. The Lodge has a full gas central heating system. Sorry no pets allowed.
Accessibility
The Lodge has two downstairs bedrooms one with en-suite suitable for persons with slightly limited mobility.
Outside
The property has well maintained lawned gardens with a patio, outdoor furniture and patio heater. There is a full sized ping pong table for use.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are at West Kirby and New Brighton approx 30 minutes drive away or the North Wales Coast approx 50 minutes drive away.

There are many excellent Golf Courses in Cheshire. Local Golf Courses include:

The nearest airport is Liverpool Airport approx 25 miles and Manchester International Airport is approx 35 miles away. Use of a car is essential.
Distances
The nearest small town is Frodsham approx 3 miles away where there are several local restaurants, hotels, pubs and a nightclub. The nearest pub to the Lodge is the Tigers Head in Norley, 0.5 mile away, approx 20/30 minutes walk. The village of Kingsley is 1.5 miles away with a local convenience store and post office. The nearest church is Norley Church which is approx 10 minutes walk from the Lodge.
Further details
Large supermarkets can be found in Frodsham town centre and the local village of Helsby. Banks and Building Societies can be found in Frodsham. Frodsham has a wonderful outdoor market on a Thursday morning. There are plenty of walks in the area on the sandstone trail, Helsby and Frodsham Hill. You can visit Jodrell Bank, The Cheshire Boat Museum, The Salt Museum in Northwich and the Anderton Lift. The Roman walled City of Chester is a "must see" with its "Rows" of shops, museums, Roman ampitheatre, walks around the original Roman wall of the City, visit the Cathedral or take a stroll down to the river through the Groves or spectacular Grosvenor Park. There is so much to do in the heart of Cheshire and Haydan Lodge is the perfect location for a holiday.

25% deposit is required on booking with final settlement 8 weeks prior to commencement of the holiday. A returnable breakage deposit of £200 is required Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks prior to date of holiday - no cancellation fee
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund
