Overlooking the 3 miles of Woolacombe Sands, Narracott Apartments is in a prime position at the heart of Woolacombe, with a spectacular elevation offering panoramic views across the beach and coastline. The self catering apartment is inspected by the English Tourist Board annually and has 5 Star accreditation for Self-Catering Accommodation\Cottages. The Narracott Apartments are in the heart of this coastal village, with a good choice of restaurants and pubs, and is within a stone's throw of the coastal path and the three miles of glorious sandy beach. This 1st floor apartment has outstanding sea views and parking for one car. The apartment has south-facing decked balconies which can be accessed from the lounge and the 2 bedrooms, to admire the panoramic landscape across the village and beyond to the beach. The spacious main sitting room/dining room is open plan with comfortable sofas, with views across the beach. Patio doors lead out onto the decked balcony.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday for weekly bookings. Arrival time is 3pm, departure time 10am.

Bedroom 2 - Second bedroom with two single beds; Newly decorated for 2007.
Both bedrooms have balconies overlooking the beach and coastline.
Bathrooms: En-suite shower room to Bedroom 1, with Shower, Sink, WC;
Separate family bathroom with Bath, Shower, Sink, WC.
Kitchen: Fully equipped separate kitchen including 2 ovens, hob, extractor fan and microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, fridge and separate freezer, one-and-a-half bowl stainless steel sink and drainer. Plus a window for light and ventilation.
Living Rooms: Large 32 foot Lounge/dining room with patio doors leading to large decked balcony, having panoramic sea views over Woolacombe Bay and the golden sands. The lounge contains two large blue sofas; 32" LCD TV, Satellite, video, DVD player and surround sound.
Other: The apartment has a private, secure external storage area for beach equipment and surfboards. Lounge newly decorated for 2007 and new carpet fitted. New 32" LCD widescreen TV for 2008.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are provided, including tea towels. The apartment is cleaned at each changeover where the booking is weekly. Cleaning and linen are included within the tariff. For 'Two Week' bookings the linen is changed after the first week.

 

Notes on accommodation
All utilities are included. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted, even on the balcony. The property is let on a non smoking basis for insurance, comfort and safety purposes. Well behaved children only please.

All rooms - Lounge and bedrooms have access to the large decked balconies, overlooking the beach and coastline of Woolacombe Sands. The balcony has wooden garden furniture and deckchairs. Leisure facilities are available at the nearby Woolacombe Bay Hotel, including gym and swimming pool.

Coast/Beach
The 3 miles of golden sands which are Woolacombe Bay are within a stone's throw of the apartment (150 - 200m walking). The beach is a wide and long expanse of sand, with beach and coastal downland walks. The beach is available for walking, swimming, and surfing. Local walks include Baggy Point and Morte Point.

Golf
Local Golf Course - Willingcott Valley Golf Course, Woolacombe; an 18 hole golf course within two miles driving distance of Woolacombe.

Travel
Car recommended for local Devon sightseeing, but not essential. Taxis and some public transport available.

Distances
Ilfracombe - 4 miles driving. Barnstaple - 15 miles driving
Braunton - 5 miles driving.

Supermarkets are available in Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. Local convenience stores are available in Woolacombe. The village of Woolacombe has a range of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Local villages of Croyde, Georgeham, and Mortehoe offer further choices of pubs and restaurants. Woolacombe has a cashpoint and bank. Other Places of Interest; Mortehoe, Ilfracombe, Clovelly, Appledore, Instow; Combe Martin, Hartland Point and Lundy Island, Croyde and Westward Ho!. Booking notes
Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. £100 non refundable deposit is required upon booking and the balance will be invoiced 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. In addition, a separate payment of £100 will act as a damage security deposit. This will be refunded to you in full after your holiday, assuming there is no unexpected damage during your stay at the apartment.
