Stancombe Manor is a small hamlet of properties, each with its own individual style, set within 21 acres of idyllic countryside in the heart of the South Hams. Located between Salcombe and Dartmouth, it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers rolling countryside, coastal walks and beautiful beaches for the ideal family holiday. Honeysuckle cottage is one of a number, beautifully converted from an original Tythe Barn and offering accommodation to a high standard. The accommodation is on 2 floors, comprising 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate WC. There is gas fired central heating. The living accommodation on the ground floor provides a well equipped kitchen with a fridge and dishwasher, a large dining table, chairs, and 2 sofas. There is also a wall mounted pull down double bed. The cottage fronts onto a sheltered grassy sitting out area with a picnic table.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, although the owners are flexible outside peak times. The cottage is available from 2pm and guests are requested to vacate by 10am to facilitate cleaning.

Notes on accommodation
The owners are happy to provide accommodation for a small well behaved dog, but would prefer that it remained downstairs. A child's cot can be made available with prior notice.
Outside
The gardens, immediate surrounding area together with BBQ and picnic areas are for the enjoyment of the guests. In addition there is a recently refurbished tennis court, full sized snooker table, children’s play room, heated indoor swimming pool and sauna.
Distances
The towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe are 10 and 8 milles respectively.
Further details
The busy market town of Kingsbridge is within half an hour by car and provides all the essentials close at hand. There is also a good sized supermarket and a number of banks. Pay and display parking is available on the quay and at the top of the town.
The neighbouring village of Frogmore is approximately 2 miles and boasts a renowned bakery, village shop and post office. There is also a pub which provides food.
The village of Sherford has a church with services held regularly.
Booking notes
Bookings can be made by post or telephone. A deposit of 1/3 of the rent is required at the time of booking with the balance due 56 days (8weeks) before the commencement of the holiday. Provisional bookings can be made over the telephone and held for a maximum of five days.
