Windermere Golf Course is only a short 5 minute drive away. Easy access is available to the West side of Lake Windermere via the Ferry crossing (for walkers & cars) again only a couple of minutes away. The nearest town is Kendal, approx. a 30 minute drive. The location of this apartment really is idyllic for guests wanting to enjoy the Lake District from the very centre of the most beautiful bustling little village right on the waters edge.

Notes on prices
This year we have tried to simplify our price banding from experience gained last year. Prices displayed are for guideline purposes and may alter for month overlaps, holidays and bank holidays. Prices are per apartment (up to 4 adults-no supplements) in UK pounds. Short break mid-week/2 night week-end prices on request. Longer stays discounted. We will do our best to accommodate you to suit your budget. If you want a price while you are gazing, give us a call you'll find us amazing.
Changeover day
The apartment will be available to occupy from 4pm on the day you arrive and we request that it is vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The apartment shall be thoroughly cleaned at every change over to maintain it's high standard. Linen and extra blankets are provided. Please bring your own towels. For bookings in excess of 1 week, fresh linen shall be delivered. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment further benefits from gas central heating. The large windows complimented by the high ceilings and contemporary lighting offer the ideal ambiance for the relaxed evening. This is a no smoking apartment. If you require a car parking permit we have one available. A small deposit is required,refundable on it's safe return.
Accessibility
Entered by a communal access the apartment is located at 1st floor level although the wide returning stairway offers 2 landing areas.
Golf
Windermere Golf Course is less than 2 miles away, a 5 minute drive.
Kendal Golf Club is approx. 20 minute drive away.
Special interest holidays
One minute from the apartment, Lake Winderemere shores into Bowness Bay. Here, you may hire day boats -motor, or for the more energetic, rowing. Also this is the location of the Pleasure Cruisers which offer a variety of tours to various points of the Lake - north to Ambleside or south to Newbry Bridge.
Travel
Manchester Airport is 1 hour 20 minutes away by car.
The nearest train station is in Windermere, only a 5 minute taxi drive away or 20 minute walk. The nearest main motorway network is Junction 36 of the M6 only a 30 minute drive away.

Windermere 5 min. Kendal 20/25 mins. Ambleside 15 mins.
Hawkshead (via ferry) 10 mins.

Booking notes
There is a 48hr holding period after booking. A 25% deposit is req. at booking. The balance is req. 8 wks prior to stay. If your booking is made less than 8 wks prior to stay, the full bal. is req. upon booking. There is a refundable £100 breakage fee/£25 key deposit payable with your balance. All service charges are inclusive of tariff. For cancellations upto 8wks prior to your stay a full refund will be given, for 4-6wks - 50%, for 2-4wks 25% and for less than 2 wks no refund shall be given.
