Winstitchen is located at the very heart of Exmoor National Park. Winstitchen is an ideal spot for friends, families or just couples to escape and relax, in total peace and quiet, with only the wildlife for company! Enjoy a walk along the River Barle which flows just below Winstitchen and can be followed to Withypool, where you will be welcomed in the Royal Oak public house for that refreshing pint and local snack. Or follow some of the many miles of footpaths and bridleways crossing the moors and woodland, without a road in sight. Winstitchen is found at the end of a tarmac drive lined with beech trees enjoying uninterrupted views over moor land with direct access on to the moor for walking and riding. Approached through a five-bar gate the farmhouse, and stables create an attractive courtyard with circular lawn. The front door opens into a large reception hall, which has views to the courtyard.

| Bathrooms: | Master bathroom with enamel bath and separate shower. Bath 2 with enamel bath with power shower over. Bathroom 3 with enamel bath. Bathroom 4 with large shower cubicle. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has been hand made in maple and is fully fitted with Belfast sinks, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oil fired aga. There is a Kitchen Aid food mixer and matching blender, and a 10 foot oak dining table. |
| Utility Room: | From the kitchen you can walk through to the large boot room with kitchen sink, boiler, washing machine, matching larder fridge and freezer, large clothes drying rack, and plenty of space for hanging coats and storing muddy wellies. |
| Living Rooms: | Opening from the hall is the drawing room. This is a large well-proportioned room with French doors and windows opening onto the garden, and extensive views to the moor. There are plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs and a large wood-burning stove |
| Other: | There is a large TV, DVD player and Hi FI system, a game of dominoes and plenty of books to read whilst you are staying at Winstitchen. |

Accessibility
There is a ground floor bedroom and shower room but no specific facilities for the disabled.
Outside
The grounds are excellent for children being safe and secure, with ample garden furniture, barbecue and terrace.
They are blissfully peaceful with only the chatter of the birds or the bleat of a lamb for company.
Coast/Beach
The surfing beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde are 30 minutes drive away. These are brilliant sandy beaches with safe swimming and surfing. The North Devon Coast is 15 minutes away at Lynmouth.
Golf
Ample golf courses with in 15 miles radius.
Travel
Bristol Airport is 1 hour away. Exeter Airport is also 1 hour away.
A car is essential to make the most of this spectacular National Park.
Distances
Simonsbath, 1 mile shop and hotel/pub.
Exford, 4 miles with 3 shops pub and hotel.
South Molton, 20 minutes drive, supermarket, market, pubs and hotels.
Further details
Exmoor is renowned for its spectacular scenery. Walkers have unlimited paths to explore, and you can ride your horse for hours without crossing a road.
