Notes on accommodation
Heating is by easily controlled sealed units. The Apartment is thoroughly cleaned when handed over and should be clean and tidy when vacated.
An iron and ironing board are stored in a hall cupboard.
Pets / Animals are not permitted and there is a no smoking rule in the building.
Accessibility
The studio apartment is located on the ground floor. Accessibility is excellent, which may be of particular importance for people with mobility issues.
Outside
The large front garden has temporary parking for visitors while unloading etc. It also has a pretty landscaped section with timber trellis, shrubs, flowers and a garden bench seat.
Golf
If golf is your game, no less than five 18 hole courses and 2 driving ranges can be found with a three mile radius of the Town Hall.

From Heathrow - enquire about or Underground or Express services to Ealing Broadway or South Ealing then walk or taxi. From Gatwick and Stanstead - Express Rail or Coach to Central London, then Underground as above.
Distances
Ealing Broadway Station (10 minute walk). Good connections for Underground and Network Rail. Approximately 20 minutes to Oxford Circus (Central London / West End).

Ealing is a pleasant, leafy Borough of West London, midway between Heathrow Airport and Marble Arch. The area is relatively free of the noise and pollution which dominate central London, despite the fact that Marble Arch and Oxford Street are a mere 20 minutes by Underground from Ealing Broadway Station. The Broadway Shopping Center is reserved for pedestrians. Within its covered arcades are outlets ranging from high fashion to low camp, small craft stalls and a weekly free-for-all market. Take a stroll around the majestic avenues of plane and chestnut trees which line the Common, or enjoy a game of tennis on the municipal courts. Gunnersbury Park has a boating lake, museum, mini golf course and bowling green, all open to the public. The friendly local shopping area around West Ealing station is a 3 minute walk from our Gordon Road apartment. There you will find a quality supermarket (Waitrose), a restaurant or two and a traditional pub. The range of shops includes a post office, a chemist, launderette and dry cleaners. Dozens of restaurants line the main Uxbridge Road, a few hundred yards further on.

We ask for an initial 25% booking deposit. The balance is to be paid on arrival in cash or Travellers Cheques. Cancellation: Your deposit is refunded, subject to re-letting, less an administration charge of 15%.

We bought this house in 1973. Over the years it has been transformed and brought up to date. It is a handsome building and perfectly placed for commuting in or out of Central London. Indeed, we think, being situated in Ealing, allows you to enjoy the best of all worlds.
