Barnwell Castle was the home of Princess Alice and belongs to the Montague family. Oundle has a lovely farmers market and a variety of interesting shops and restaurants. Known in Anglo-Saxon times as Undela, or Undalum, the town is almost surrounded on three sides by the River Nene. There are 400 miles of footpaths and bridleways to choose from. Guest comments
Thank you for your warm hospitality on our recent visit. We found Willow Cottage delightful and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very well equipped and the location idyllic - we will recommend it to our friends.

We had a wonderful time, the cottage is beautiful and I can't think of a single thing to criticise. The fact that there was no signal on my mobile just added to the peace and quiet.
