Set back from our neighbouring property, Harbour's Edge, Waterloo House has a commanding view over the harbour, river and across the rooftops of this beautiful unspoilt town. Waterloo House and Harbour's Edge were once joined and are now available singly or together to provide you with the perfect family holiday. The accommodation is set over two floors with the top floor providing a sizeable open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room leading out to an extended balcony for outside dining and the perfect place to relax. The views across the water and countryside are outstanding.

The master bedroom and bedrooms 2 and 3 have their own en-suite bathrooms all with baths, basins and wc's. There is a separate family bathroom with bath/shower over, serving bedroom 4. |

All bed linen and towels are provided, except beach towels. The property is cleaned every week on the Friday changeover day. |
Notes on accommodation
During summer months there is a jetty and pontoon accessed from Albert Quay which is close to the property. The jetty is suitable for short term mooring of yachts and motorboats. The visitor moorings are located at the other side of the harbour.

Outside
Extended second floor balcony providing views over the river, harbour and across the rooftops to the countryside beyond. Table and seating for outside dining. Due to the height of the second floor balcony guests need to consider the safety of children and minors, who should be properly supervised at all times.
Coast/Beach
Local beaches include Readymoney Cove, a few mins walk from the town centre. Other beaches at Coombe Hawne and Great Lantic bay can be accessed from the south west coastal path, or by boat.
Golf
There are numerous local golf courses available for the enthusiast including Lostwithiel Golf course, Carlyon Bay Golf Course, Porthpean Golf Course and St Austell Golf Course. There are over 30 courses within an hours drive of Fowey.
Special interest holidays
Fowey hosts a ten day long Daphne du Maurier Festival each May. Please contact for website addresses for further information. The Fowey Royal Regatta is a week long festival held every August with yacht racing, Gig racing, Red Arrows display team and a Grand firework display.
Travel
Fowey is approx 155 miles from Bristol and can usually be reached from there in two and a half hours. The nearest airport is at Newquay which is approx30 mins away by car. The nearest railway station is at Par approx 3 miles away. Direct services from Par go to Bristol, Birmingham and London Paddington.
Distances
The nearset large town is St Austell approx 7 miles away and Plymouth lies 33 miles to the East. The Cathedral City of Truro lies approx 20 miles to the West.
Further details
Fowey has all the facilities associated with a small town including restaurants and pubs, 3 banks (2 with ATM's), local stores, Post Office, delicatessen, bakers, butchers, fishmongers and numerous specialist shops selling high quality produce and goods. There are 2 yacht clubs for visiting yachtsmen and women, The Royal Fowey Yacht Club and the Fowey Gallants Sailing Club. In addition there is a water taxi and you can hire motorboats, canoes etc.
