Within the vicinity there are delightful walks, pubs and restaurants. There are two golf courses situated approx 5 miles away. The barn conversion is tastefully decorated with a fitted modern kitchen area in the lounge which has table with 4 chairs, TV, DVD and radio. There are two bathrooms, both have showers (no baths). There is an area of decking overlooking the surrounding fields, with table, chairs and barbecue. The property has the benefit of full central heating. A hard tennis court is available for guests, racquets and balls are supplied.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets. The accommodation is a no smoking area.
Accessibility
The whole building is on one level, which would suit people with limited mobility.
Outside
There is a decked area for sitting overlooking adjoining fields, which has a barbeque, table and chairs. There is an area to park at the front of the building. The hard tennis court overlooks the Suffolk countryside and wonderful sunsets can be enjoyed in the evening.
Coast/Beach
The Barn is situated approx 45 mins from the Suffolk Heritage Coast, with places such as Aldeburgh, Orford and Snape Maltings are within one hour. The historic town of Long Melford (6 miles), Lavenham (3 miles), Sudbury with Railway link to London Liverpool Street (6 miles) and village of Kersey (4 miles).
Golf
Two golf courses approx 5 miles and further golf courses within 20 miles.
Travel
The nearest airport is Stansted (approx 1 hour), the nearest train stations for London and intercity is Colchester (16 miles) and Sudbury (6 miles).
Distances
The nearest village is Monks Eleigh which is one mile away, it has a village shop and post office, and a renowned restaurant The Swan. Within two miles the pretty village of Chelsworth has a typical country pub serving food called the Peacock, Lavenham (3 miles) has many restaurants. There are several other pub/restaurants within a 4 mile radius of the property. An artificial ski slope is situated in Ipswich (15 miles).
