South View has recently been renovated and decorated to a high standard, finished with oak flooring downstairs, complimented by leather sofas and a multifuel stove in the lounge with a gas stove in the dining room. The house is south facing (hence the name) and has wonderful views of Iburndale and the North Yorkshire Moors beyond. The bedrooms feature a pine double bed and two single metal beds. Both rooms have polished floor boards. The kitchen is modern with clean lines and colourful tiling. There is a downstairs toilet and utility area. The porch is useful for storing wellies, shoes and beach toys. Outside there is parking for two cars with further on street parking available near by. The railway station is 500m away and the local steam train can be heard whistling in the distance.

Location Information: South View is located in the North Yorkshire village of Sleights with its excellent shops and two pubs, 2 miles from the coastal town of Whitby and the beautiful beaches at Sandsend and Runswick Bay. In the port of Whitby there is much to explore, with the Abbey and the 199 steps being located at the top of Church Street. Look out for Fortunes Kippers and the numerous Whitby Jet shops. A short drive inland and you are in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, where you can explore 'Heartbeat' country (as seen on TV) in the village of Goathland and travel on the North Yorkshire Moors railway through wonderful countryside.
