You can now visit the film location of Alice In Wonderland at nearby Anthony House In Torpoint. The Eden Project is only 30 minutes from Downderry, beaches nearby include Looe, Seaton, Polperro, Whitsand and Tallend Bay. Fly and Course Fishing are available at nearby Bake Fishing Lakes; activities and watersports can be found around Looe Bay, which offers shark fishing trips, boat trips, scuba diving, jet skiing and windsurfing. We've stayed in this property a number of times as we love the village of Downderrry, especially the local shop and amazing Blue Plate Restaurant. Morweth Court is a great location, very scenic, will be returning this summer. Mrs Scott, Berkshire

About the owner
I live in Berkshire with my husband and three children and have worked as a teacher for many years. As a family we love to travel but always love visiting our apartment in Cornwall and finding new places to explore.

Year purchased: 2006

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Over the past 15 years we have regularly had holidays in this part of Cornwall. We were drawn to this area due to its outstanding coastline and picturesque villages, perfect for both energetic and wind down holidays. The property is close to the fishing harbour at Polperro, Looe and the South Cornwall coastal path. We loved the location of Morweth Court as all the local amenities including the beach are within walking distance. Perfect for when you don't want to drive anywhere. We brought the apartment in 2006 and never get bored of holidaying here.
