Daleside is a luxurious 5 star spacious bungalow in a tranquil area of Masham with south facing gardens, patios with feature lighting, ample parking and only a short 5 minute stroll to the main Market Place and all amenities. It has ramped access at the rear, gas central heating, telephone, Broadband and freesat HD TV. Sorry we do not accept children in Daleside, or pets. It is a no smoking property. Masham hosts many events including Sheep Fair, Arts`Festival, Victorian Fair,Steam Traction Engine Rally, cricket matches twice weekly markets and golf tournaments. Masham is also home to Theakstons and Black Sheep Breweries and close to Swinton Park and Castle. The bungalow is only 30 miles from the historic city of York, an hours drive to Scarborough and is situated in the picturesque Dales countryside. After your first visit to Daleside we are sure you will want to return time after time as many of our guests do.

Daleside does not accept pets, smokers or children. Extra sink, washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the utility area in the garage. Gas central heating, electric flame fire. Garden furniture on both patios. Cushions and parasol provided.

Bookings are via telephone or email. A deposit of £100 secures 1 week and £50 for a short break. Payment is by cheque and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Three or four day breaks are available from October to May

About the owner
My husband and I have lived in Masham for a number of years and enjoy the beautiful surrounding country side and convivial atmosphere of the unspoilt market town.
Many of our friends enjoy holidaying with us in Masham as there is so much to do in the local area. The local shops and pubs and restaurants are quite unique and the town hosts many events throughout the year including plays, musical evenings, bonfire, traction engine rally and Sheep Fair to name a few. Which other town has two breweries like Masham?
We service Daleside ourselves, greet our guests on arrival and welcome any comments which would enhance their stay.
The wonderful comments in our visitors book always spur us on to continually maintain and improve our high standard of accommodation.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Having frequently been disappointed with self catering accommodation on holiday we decided to buy Daleside. It took us two years to extend and renovate the bungalow in order to achieve the high standard it has been rated (Visit Britain 5 star) consequently our guests return time after time.
Daleside is located in a quiet cul de sac only minutes walk from the town centre. It just seemed the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and being a bungalow could cater for a variety of needs. The sunny private garden is an added bonus as is the spacious drive for several cars.
There are wonderful river walks on our doorstep, and easy access to the coast, Dales, Moors, York and Harrogate .
Unique benefits of the property
Daleside has low windows where you are able to sit and enjoy the delightful garden views from the bedroom and dining area.
Ramped access makes life easier for anyone that finds steps difficult and outside lighting on three elevations help when returning late at night.
Outside sockets and feature lighting enhance an evening BBQ
Televisions in each bedroom and the option of a superking bed in the twin room all add to the comfort of Daleside.
It's also handy for each couple to have their own bathroom.
