Ashdown provides stylish and comfortable accommodation for six people. It is a newly renovated spacious bungalow with new bathrooms and kitchen. A perfect base for a family. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within rolling farmland. From the well maintained garden there are views of the sea at Crackington Haven and Lundy Island. Crackington Haven has a large beach with rockpools, surf and sand and has a daily Lifeguard during the summer months. There is a pub, two beachside cafes, toilets and tennis courts by the sea with direct access to the South West Coastal Path.

Prices for the property are per week in UK Pounds. Please call for weekend breaks. These may be possible out of season and will be charged at 50% of the weekly rate.

Changeover day
Friday, but there is flexibility out of season. Arrival not before 4pm. Departure before 10am.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Bedroom 3 with bunkbeds.
Bathrooms: Newly renovated bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet.
Separate cloakroom with toilet and sink.
Both have heated towel rails.
Kitchen: Well equipped large kitchen/diner. With electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and separate tumble dryer.
Living Rooms: Large comfortable livingroom overlooking the garden. It contains two leather sofas and a club chair. Flat panel TV with freeview and surround sound, DVD/CD player with MP3 connection, telescope and plenty of books and games.
Other: An entrance porch suitable for coats and boots.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
We provide all bedlinen. Bathroom and beach towels are also provided. The house will be clean and tidy and the beds will be made upon your arrival.

Please note we do not accept any pets and that this is a non smoking house.

Accessibility
There are four or five steps up into the bungalow, please bear this in mind if you are a wheelchair user.

Outside
A fully enclosed garden suitable for children. With patios on two levels one of which contains the table, chairs and umbrella for dining. Gas Outback BBQ. Body boards, buckets, spades and other beach toys are stored in the shed and are available for guests use.

Coast/Beach
Less than a mile from the local beach with plenty of parking even during the summer months. Surf boards and wetsuits are available for hire. There are sandy beaches within a short drive at Widemouth Bay, Bude and Sandymouth.

Golf
There are a number of Golf Courses in the area, the nearest being Trethorne.

Travel
A car is essential for holidaying in Crackington Haven. It is within 4 miles of the A39 making it a good place for touring the North Cornwall Coast.
There are airports at Exeter and Newquay and main line Railway Station at Bodmin.

Distances
10 minutes to Boscastle.
10 minutes to Widemouth Bay.
15 minutes to Bude.
40 minutes to Padstow.
20 minutes to Launceston.
45 minutes to Eden Project.

Further details
5 minute walk to Post Office/General Store and ATM. Major supermarkets in Bude or Launceston. Several farm shops nearby.
Indoor swimming pool, Bowling, Cinema, Leisure Centre in Bude.

Booking notes
50% deposit required on booking to secure the holiday, the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. £250 deposit to be paid with the balance and will be refunded in full less adjustments if necessary within one month after your departure.
