Michaelmas Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 plus a baby. It has a woodburning stove set in a large inglenook fireplace, beams and original floorboards. It overlooks its own south facing cottage garden to one side with views across the beautiful Batsford Estate which is directly behind the cottage.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is on three floors accessed by winding stairs and may not be suitable for the elderly/infirm. Due to the nature of the walls it has not been possible to fit a stair gate and parents must bear this in mind before making a reservation. Parents are responsible for their children at all times. One well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement for an extra charge of £20.

Although a bus service runs through Bourton on the Hill a car is adviseable.

The ancient market town of Moreton in Marsh is 1½ miles away. Stow on the Wold, Broadway and Chipping Campden are just three of the beautiful old Cotswold towns in the area. The cathedral towns of Gloucester & Warwick are within an hour as are Oxford, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Worcester and Shakespeare's birthplace Stratford upon Avon. Bath is also within easy reach

Further details
The excellent and extremely popular village pub the Horse & Groom at the top of the hill serves excellent food and wine (booking essential). There is an eclectic mix of places to eat in Moreton in Marsh and surrounding areas, details of which can be found in the cottage.
A welcome food basket is supplied by the award winning
Cotswold Cheese Company in Moreton in Marsh which is well worth a visit. Longborough Farm Shop is close by and Moreton in Marsh market takes place each Tuesday throughout the year. There is a Tesco Express and a larger Budgens supermarket in Moreton.

Bookings from Mon - Fri (4 nights), Fri - Mon (3 nights), Mon - Mon (7 nights) or Fri - Fri (7 nights) except school hols, bank hols, Easter, Christmas & New Year when bookings are taken for 7 nights only.
Access on the day of arrival is from 16.00hrs and departure no later than 10.30hrs on the day of departure.
