Dolphin Cottage provides a stylish and comfortable, fully furnished 3 bedroom, self catering holiday home for up to 8 people. The open plan living area allows for a very sociable holiday. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from the harbour at the centre of the picturesque and unspoilt fishing village of Port Isaac, popular for whitewashed cottages built in the 18th and 19th century and narrow winding lanes. At low tide there is the opportunity to explore newly exposed rock pools. The property is an ideal base for trips to Polzeath, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel and Boscastle. Surfing, water-sports, horse riding and first class golf courses are all nearby. The cottage sits within a minute walk to the coastal path. It is well served by fantastic local restaurants and cafes, offering locally caught seafood and good pubs all within walking distance. ‘Pea Pod’, a lovely local delicatessen yards from the cottage, provides freshly baked bread, homemade cakes, Cornish pasties and morning papers.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. In low/mid season short breaks may be available. 2 nights - 50% weekly rate. 3 nights 60% weekly rate. 4 nights 75% weekly rate. Due to how Christmas falls this year we are booking Christmas week out as a Saturday to Saturday let (20th - 27th December 2008), to allow for a hang over recovery before leaving the cottage!!
Changeover day
Friday changeover. Keys available from 5pm on day of arrival via coded security box. Drop off facility on early arrival. Property to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Accessibility
One step into entrance porch. Living area, one bedroom and bathroom all on ground floor.
Outside
Large secluded private patio garden area with large picnic table and benches. Plenty of room for sunbathing. Drive with parking for 2 cars.
Coast/Beach
Within a minute walk of the Port Isaac section of the North Cornwall coastal path and 5 minutes from the still operating fishing harbour. At low tide neighboring Port Gaverne has a small, sheltered, sandy beach with rock pools, probably the safest beach in North Cornwall for small children. Polzeath beach has an expansive sandy cove with some of the best surfing in Cornwall, 10 minutes by car. Daymer bay is 15 minutes by car and is a popular windsurfing spot. Dogs welcome all year round.
Golf
10-15 mins by car to two excellent 18 hole golf courses, Roserrow and St Enodoc. Booking in advance required.
Travel
40 mins drive from Newquay airport. 70 mins drive from Exeter airport. 20 mins drive from Bodmin train station. 20 min bus to Wadebridge.
Distances
Cottage within Port Isaac fishing village. Wadebridge for shopping, Camel trail, cinema 20 mins drive. Polzeath for surf, sandy beach, cafes and restaurants 10 mins drive. Rock for Camel estuary watersports 15 min drive. 10 min water ferry to Padstow. Padstow 25 min drive with selection of shops and restaurants including Rick Stein's famous fish restaurant. Tintagel 25 mins drive with seat of the Legend of King Arthur and beaches. Eden project and Bodmin Moor within 1 hour drive.

25% deposit on booking. Balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival date. Full payment if booking within 6 weeks of arrival date. £100 additional damages deposit.
