Reduced pricing for next few weeks before Christmas. Primrose Cottage is a spacious cottage with two large bedrooms, sleeping five. Period features include a large inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove. The cottage is next door to the owners home which dates from 1490 and is the oldest house in Bridge. Bridge is located at the edge of the Elham Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a patio area with picnic style table for BBQs.

Changeover day
Preferred change over date is Friday, but we can be flexible on this. Minimum stay is two nights.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 is a large room with a king size bed, armchair, wardrobe and mirror. Bedroom 2 is a large room with three single beds, chest of drawers. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with toilet, corner bath/shower over. |
| Kitchen: | Cooker, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. |
| Living Rooms: | Living room with inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove. Two small sofas, TV (with freeview), DVD player (and selection of DVDs), Games cupboard with selection of boardgames etc. |
| Other: | Dining room with oak table and five chairs. Landing area includes full bookcase of a variety of books. If you start one but don't finish it before you leave, don't worry; either swap it with one of your own or leave a small donation. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are provided at the start of the holiday. A change of linen can be provided on request for stays of longer than one week. The cottage will be cleaned by us prior to your arrival. We would appreciate the cottage being left clean & tidy. |

Please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
We regret that we cannot accept dogs.
Accessibility
The steep winding staircase may not be suitable for the infirm.
Outside
Patio area with picnic style seating. Barbecue on request.
Coast/Beach
There is a large selection of different beaches, each about 30 min drive away. To the north there is the pretty town of Whitstable, known worldwide for its oysters. Sandy beaches are found to the East, Margate with the new Turner Contempory exhibition, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and the small bays such as Minnis Bay. To the South, the town of Deal with its pebble beach and pier.
For a further drive to the South West, Dymchurch is 45 minutes away and has long sandy beaches (when the tide is out!).
Golf
There are lots of opportunities for golf. Royal St Georges (2011 British Open venue) in Sandwich is just 10 miles away. More locally golf is available in Canterbury (3 miles), Broome Park (3 miles), Boughton (9 miles), Deal (14 miles) and many, many other good local courses from 9 hole par 3 to championship par 18.
Travel
20 minutes from the port of Dover.
20 minute drive from Eurotunnel.
30 minutes from Kent International Airport (Manston)
Canterbury train stations are three miles away.
Good regular buses from Canterbury to Bridge.
Car not essential but recommended in order to enjoy the area more fully.

Margate (Turner contemporary) 15 miles.
Whitstable 10 miles.
Trips to France via Ferry from Dover or Eurotunnel from Folkestone 12 miles away.

Bridge Shop is just 100m away and stocks a good range of essentials.
Cash point (ATM) is 100m away (charges fee).
White Horse, Red Lion and Plough & Harrow pubs in Bridge all serve food and within easy walking distance.
Bridge has a large park with play items for children.
Chemist, Post Office, Doctors, Butcher and Hairdressers all in Bridge village.

Balance 6 weeks from arrival date.2 night breaks available at 55% of the weekly rate and 3 and 4 night breaks available at 75% of the weekly rate. 5 and 6 night breaks available at 95% of the weekly rate. Holidays of longer than 2 weeks can be offered at a reduced rate. Prices on application.

The position is perfect for days out. Dining, enjoying local real ales, walking, horse riding, cycling and close to Canterbury by car, on foot or using the regular bus service. Set back off the village High street of Bridge with all the shops required, along with a large play area in the village park makes staying in the village a joy. Cosy nights in by the wood burner or walking to the one of the 3 local pubs which all serve food or enjoying the various pubs, clubs, cinemas and restaurants in Canterbury.
