Meadow Viewis one of a pair of charming cottages, situated in a quiet pretty lane, in the very heart of Slapton. It is a traditional white Devon cottage with jasmine round the door. It has a garden, which although slightly detached from the cottage is a good size, very pretty and includes lawns and even a small stream. It has recently been totally refurbished. Within easy walking distance are 2 excellent public houses a general store, church and chapel. The beach which is only one mile away is ideal for boating, fishing and bathing. Dartmouth which is a beautiful south Devon town, is situated only 7 miles away and is renowned for its naval history and sailing facilities.

Changeover day
The cottage is normally booked from Sunday to Sunday (Saturday change by arrangement). Please arrive after 3pm on Sunday and vacate by 10am the following Sunday.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The master bedroom is spacious with a king-size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The second bedroom is a good sized room with a window to the rear. It contains a double bed and a single bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen on the ground floor which has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer machine. It is fully fitted out with cutlery, glasses and crockery etc. |
| Living Rooms: | The cottage contains a large sitting/dining room with solid oak floor and bay window. This attractive room has a sofa, chairs, fireplace with wood burning stove, table and dining chairs, TV and DVD player. Wood is available for burning. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
There are duvets and pillows on all the beds, electricity and heating are all included in the price. Residents are asked to supply their own bed linen, towels and tea towels. Special arrangements can be made if necessary. The cottage is cleaned weekly. |

Outside

1 mile from the beach which gently curves over 2 miles of the Start Bay. Within easy reach are other beaches and coves ideal for swimming fishing and boating.
Travel
Nearest airports are Plymouth and Exeter both approx 1 hour drive. Use of car is recommended. Nearest port is Plymouth again 1 hour drive.
