Situated to the south of Honiton, Boycombe is a magnificent house set in its own 45 acres, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Once you start travelling up its long private lane you are entering a delightfully private and secluded place yet close to the historic fossil beaches of the Jurassic Coast to the south, Dartmoor to the west and, to the north, the sandy beaches of North Devon. It offers a wealth of choices for visitors: some people never leave as they enjoy the house and garden or explore the surrounding land with its streams, woodlands and ancient pastures. If you venture out of our valley, the shops of Honiton or Sidmouth are 15 minutes away whilst bustling Exeter is half an hour away.

Guest comments
Summer 2007 was the first year we rented Boycombe out:
Rachel and her family came in August - "Just driving back from a lovely week at Boycombe. The house is indeed special and all of us had a wonderful time. The children's play area was superb, the house extremely comfortable, Many thanks for the use of the wellies and for the new TV which was brilliant for the first few rainy days. The games room was wonderful and has given us a few ideas for our house now! Your tips were great and we ate at 3 of your recommendations and visited most of the places you noted. Wonderful!"

Nicala and her family came the week after - "Just wanted to let you know that we had the most relaxing holiday ever. I cannot believe how beautiful your house is, I fell in love with it immediately. I cant imagine that I will ever stay in something so old and beautiful again, we simply loved everything about it. It was so peaceful, yet well situated to reach anywhere..."

House swap
House swap considered. Would need a house available to sleep 7/8. Preferably abroad, USA especially.
