| Living Rooms: | The living room has large flat screen television, DVD player and music system. We have satellite television offering a wide range of English and American channels including Movies and Sport. There is Wi Fi Internet access throughout the house. |
| Other: | There are bicycles at the house, which you are welcome to use. You can cycle for miles along the River Thames, which is a great way to see the city, and neighbouring Richmond Park is a stunning area of natural beauty, with deer roaming wild. |

Notes on accommodation
The property is suitable for children - although there are 3 staircases - and a cot and highchair can be provided if required. The back garden is very safe and enclosed.
Outside
The garden is paved with large gas barbecue, patio heaters, sun loungers and a table that seats 8-10. The garden is west-facing, ensuring sunshine from late-morning until sunset. After dark there is plenty of lighting.
Golf
Richmond Park has a public 18 hole course about 2 miles away. There is also a driving range and course at Dukes Meadows also about 2 miles away.
Special interest holidays
The house is located 4 miles from Wimbledon, where the 2012 Olympic tennis will take place. Transport links are easy and this is the perfect house for visiting the London Olympics.
Travel
Heathrow Airport is 9 miles west of Barnes. A local car service can be arranged to take to or collect from the airport at a much cheaper rate than a London black cab. Good public transport links into the centre of London are such that car hire is not necessary.
Distances
As we are on the west side of the city, we recommend day trips to the Cotswolds, Oxford and Bath, which are all little over an hour away.
Further details
Barnes has an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafes. Remarkably, while so close to the centre of London, it has all the atmosphere and charm of an English village with duck pond, village green and great local pubs. There is a wide range of family pizzarias, cafes and curry houses, as well as several excellent, more sophisticated restaurants.
