These lodges provide an ideal spot for a relaxing romantic break or family holiday. The lodges are spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Each lodge has its own private hot tub. Fishing lake on site stocked with carp, tench and rudd. Picnic area at the side of the lake. Morrells Valley is a great base for exploring the Devon countryside, with Exmoor just a short drive away and North and South coasts within an hour. A host of attractions nearby including Grand Western Canal, Wimbleball Lake, Knightshayes (National Trust property) and family attractions such as Diggerland and Crealy Adventure Park.

Prices of short breaks Mon-Fri or Fri-Mon will be 65% of price of a week.
Changeover day
Normal changeover day for weeks is a Saturday. Short breaks also available from Monday-Friday or Friday- Monday. We can be flexible on dates in low season, please call to discuss. Arrival is from 4pm and departure time is by 10am.

From February 2012 this lodge also has a private hot tub. Two bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and a twin bedded room. Separate family bathroom. Large open plan room with well equipped kitchen (washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave), dining area and lounge area with 32" LCD TV with built in freeview, leather reclining sofas. Small selection of books and DVDs. Large decking area with patio furniture, BBQ and sunloungers. Private hot tub on lower decking area (down 4 steps) Fantastic country views. Double glazing throughout. Electric woodburner and panel heaters. Electricity included in the price. Bedlinen is included and the beds will be made up for your arrival. Please bring your own towels as these are not provided. No pets and no smoking. |

Accessibility
The lodges are all on one level but Durley Lodge has 2 steps from the parking area to the lodge. Redwoods Lodge has 9 steps from the parking to access the lodge and 4 steps from the lodge level down to the private hot tub.
Outside
Each lodge has a private hot tub and good sized area of decking with patio furniture, BBQ and sunloungers. There is a large sloping area of grass around the lodges and childrens swings and slide. Picnic area next to the fishing lake.
Coast/Beach
Beaches of Exmouth, Dawlish, Branscombe, Beer on the south coast are within approx 45 minutes drive. The north devon beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Putsborough are about an hours drive.
Travel
Exeter Airport 25 miles. As we are in a very rural location the use of a car is esential.

Payments can be made by credit/debit cards or by cheque. 20% deposit payable at the time of booking and the balance is payable by minimum of 8 weeks prior to start of holiday. Why the owner chose a home in this location
Morrells Farm has been in the family for over 50 years. We took over the farm a few years ago and decided to build a couple of log cabins as holiday lets as a farm diversification project. We operated through an agent for the first 5 years and because we had a lot of regulars returning year after year, we decided to go on our own. 2011 is our first season without an agent, so we will see how it goes!
We think Morrells Valley is a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxing break. The valley has no roads running through it and so is very peaceful and quiet.
Unique benefits of the property
If you enjoy wildlife and birdwatching, Morrells Valley is the ideal place for you. There are usually buzzards flying around and we have hares, badgers, foxes and deer frequently seen on the farm. Guests have seen a kingfisher on the lake and early this year our son saw a wild otter (we hope he doesn't eat all our fish!)
While staying here you can enjoy walks around the farm and are welcome to come and see the ducks, chickens and help feed the calves. Or you can relax in the hot tub and watch the lambs playing in the field.
