Mariners Loft is a first floor apartment situated on the High Street close to shops and a short walk from the beach. The property has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), a lounge/diner/fitted kitchen and bathroom. Aldeburgh has inspired many authors and poets the most famous being Benjamin Britten who founded the famous annual Aldeburgh Music Festival. The annual Regatta is also a big draw. The High Street contains a wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries. Fresh fish can be bought from the beachside huts close to the Lifeboat Station. Close by is the renowned Aldeburgh Golf course, the RSPB bird reserve at Minsmere, Dunwich, Thorpness with its well known Mere and golf course. To the south of Aldeburgh is Orford and its 13th century castle which is open to the public.

Changeover day
Usual Changeover Friday to Friday Arrival 3 pm, departure 10 am. Out of season we can be flexible regarding changeover day and length of stay. Please contact owner for availability.

Beautifully laid out apartment, in a lovely area. Snape Maltings and the walk to Iken church breathtaking in its reedy, watery and ancient beauty.
Wonderful apartment, very clean and comfortable. Loved Aldeburghs shops and restaurants. Southwolds sandy beaches also lovely and Woodbridge with the Tide Mill is worth a visit. We will definately be coming back, as loads more to discover and crab sandwiches to eat!! Thanks very much for making us so welcome.
