A terrace cottage, furnished and presented to a high standard throughout. The accommodation is divided over 3 floors and is perhaps best suited to couples or families with children 5 years and over. The private garden with elevated decking area, table, chairs provides an ideal place for 'alfresco' dining or an evening drink. The cottage has been significantly re-furbished in recent years, include a new bathroom suite (2012) and redecorated to a high standard in preparation of the 2013 season. The cottage is ideally located, just a few yards level walk from the towns' restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and delightful embankment. Coastal walks, river and steam railway trips, museums and much, much more.
Bedroom 1 with kingsize double bed, bedside cabinets, LCD TV.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Both rooms provide wardrobes and drawers for storage.
Linen and towels provided.
A well presented, fully tiled family bathroom (on the first floor) with bath, power shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c and heated towel rail (refitted out in January 2012).
An attractive galley-style kitchen area with modern units, four-ring halogen hob, electric oven and grill, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and toaster
A beautifully presented room with wood flooring, two double leather sofas and folding dining table and four chairs. Flat screen TV and DVD player, Playstation 2 and games, sideboard and iPod dock.
Towels (not beach towels) and linen provided. The property is cleaned before each arrival and towels and linen changed weekly if staying more than 7 days. We have a caretaker who lives nearby to assist guests should the need arise.

This property is unsuitable for people who have mobility problems as there are steps (three) up to the front door and stairs internally.
To the rear of the property is a stunning and surprisingly spacious two-tiered decking area with deck lights, table, and seating for 6 people and a barbecue. Outside storage for buckets, crab lines, spades etc.
The outside area catches the sun most times of the day.
Important notes on accommodation
There is a combi-boiler with an efficient central heating system which is adjustable in all rooms. The duvets and pillows are all hypoallergenic. All the furnishings are new for the 2012/2013 season and the mattresses are of top quality. A free parking pass is included for the long stay car park close by. There is also space outside the property for loading/unloading. Sorry no Pets and strictly no smoking permitted. Please be aware Dartmouth is notorious for seagulls and during nesting season on rare occasions there can be increased activity in garden and open areas.

About the area
The award winning Blackpool Sands is a short drive away. This blue flag beach is set in a sheltered bay surrounded by evergreens and pines. It is a privately managed family beach with turquoise blue seas with sand pits, a bathing raft, kayaks and windsurfers for hire, a range if delicious hot and cold food from the award winning Venus Cafe and a beach shop.
2 miles on is Slapton sands with its 3 mile long beach and Slapton Ley.
Dartmouth Golf and Country Club is 8 minutes drive. It is the South Hams only Championship Course, it offers 2 exceptional glod courses, both created with sweeping fairways, ample all year round tees and of course superb greens created from the dramatic surrounding landscape, all built to USGA Championship specification.
