Darts Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage located in the centre of Appledore village just 2 minute stroll from the quayside and close to all local amenities. The cottage comprises of 2 double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sitting room, bathroom and seperate wc. The cottage also benefits from full central heating and constant hot water. To the rear is a walled courtyard with seating and a barbeque, perfect for those warm summer devon evenings. Appledore is a charming and picturesque fishing village, located on the estuary of the rivers Taw and Torridge. You can explore the cobbled streets of the village, shop in the art and craft galleries, take a stroll along the esplanade, and have a meal in one of the many pubs. Across the estuary you can see the pretty villlage of Instow. Exploring the many attractions that North Devon offers from this central location couldn't be easier with Westward Ho! and it's sandy beaches, and Bideford just a 10 minute drive away!

Prices stated are for the cottage per week in UK Pounds.
Long weekend are also available to run from Friday to Monday.
Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.
The Christmas/New Year weeks are also available to let.
Changeover day
Preferred arrival day is Saturday, however this can be negotiated.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 is a bright sunny double bedroom getting the sun in the evenings. Bedroom 2 is a bright sunny twin bedded room receiving the sun in the morning and during the day. Both bedrooms contain wardrobes, drawer storage space and mirrors. |
| Bathrooms: | Spacious bathroom with bath and shower over, washbasin and heated towel rail. Sperate wc also with wash basin. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen with modern cooker, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/dryer, microwave. The area between the kitchen and sitting room can be opened out to reveal a dining table that can be folded away when not required. |
| Living Rooms: | Living room including television, DVD player and comfortable corner sofa. |
| Other: | To the rear of the property is a walled courtyard with seating and a table for relaxing. |

Clean and fresh bed linen is included, and the property is cleaned on a weekly basis. |
Notes on accommodation
Pets accepted with prior agreement only. The bathroom and wc are located downstairs in this cottage, and the stairway to the bedrooms is quite steep due to the age of the cottage.
Outside
Traditional walled coutyard garden with space for a disposable barbeque, seating and table for al fresco eating. A sun trap in the afternoons!
Coast/Beach
The cottage is located just 2 minutes stroll from the quayside where you will find the estuary of the rivers taw and torridige. A 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk will take you to Westward Ho! where there is a beautiful sandy beach. Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton Sands are all about 20 minutes drive.
Golf
The famous Royal North Devon Golf Course is situated closeby.
Distances
Appledore is situated half way between Bideford and Westward Ho! which are both about 10 minutes drive. Barnstaple is 20 minutes drive.
Further details
The village Co-op Store is open until 10pm most nights, and there is a newsagents, post office and library with internet access within the village. Most of the pubs in the village do lovely food menu's with local freshly caught fish, and there is a fish & chip shop just around the corner that is very popular with both visitors and residents.
Cashback can be organised in the Co-op and in the local pubs.

A 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking, and the balance will be required 4-6 weeks before the holiday commencement date.
