Golf Lodge 18 (Atlantic Reach) is on a managed site with leisure facilities, close to Newquay, just off the main A30. Bright, sunny position with outside garden area for barbecues etc. Indoor and outdoor pools on the site, plus a 9 hole pitch and putt golf course, tennis and beauty salon facilities. Restaurant and bar (seasonal) with occasional entertainment. Close to nearby Newquay and beaches, plus only 7 miles from Watergate Bay and Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen' restaurant. The house is fitted throughout to an excellent standard. For available periods please contact the owners.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Long weekend/4 day break will be considered, excluding school/bank holidays. Booking deposit of 25% of rental required (non-refundable) with balance of rental payable 6 weeks before start date of holiday. A well behaved pet - £35 per week. No smoking inside the house.

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday but please enquire if an alternative is required.

Bedroom 3 - twin beds - family bathroom on same floor with jacuzzi bath.
Bedroom 4 downstairs with own shower room - small double suitable for one adult or two children.
Bathrooms: Ensuite to bedroom 1, family bathroom with jacuzzi bath and downstairs toilet and shower room. (3 in total)
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, hob etc. Large dining table seats 8.
Utility Room: On site facilities for washing/laundry.
Living Rooms: Large kitchen/dining area with table seating eight and living area with three settees, coffee table etc. Colour TV and DVD.

Please bring your own towels, tea towels etc. Otherwise all bedding included and the property is cleaned before and after your stay.

Notes on accommodation
Atlantic Reach management can arrange for cots/high chairs etc if required. Leisure centre with indoor pool, bar area and gym - plus tennis court and 9 hole golf course.

Accessibility
The car parking spaces are just opposite the property and there is a ramp to access the house. As there is a downstairs bedroom and shower room the property is suitable for disabled visitors.

Outside
At the rear of the house there is a lawned seating area where you can have your own barbeque. There is a leisure complex with indoor pool, and gym and also an outdoor pool on the site. A 9 hole golf course for exercise! and there are also 2 tennis courts. A bar and restaurant offer a variety of meals including facilities for children and there is entertainment from time to time.

Coast/Beach
10 minutes drive to the beaches of Newquay - 15 minutes to Watergate Bay.

Distances
Newquay 10 minutes away - lots of lovely Cornish walks along the coastal path - only 20-25 minutes drive to the Eden Project and close to many National Trust Gardens/houses.

Further details
Local shops and supermarkets within 5 minutes. The restaurant on site provides a varied menu with children's options. Fistral beach and the surf is a must!

I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay - the house was lovely and it suited us to be able to eat and watch the children playing together, in the large dining kitchen/lounge. We will be booking again next year.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay - the weather wasn't too bad all things considered - we will be back!

About the owner
We have owned the property for 5 years now and always manage to get a lovely sunny week when we come! Sometimes it is better if possible to come out of main school holidays as April/May and September/October often have really good weather.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
It is very close to Newquay but we love going to Crantock Bay, which is really unspoilt. Take a picnic with you - it is wonderful! You can get almost anywhere in Cornwall within an hour or less - Falmouth is only 25-30 mins and the Eden Project around 20 mins. Cornwall has some wonderful beaches and coastal walks and such dramatic scenery - we love it!
