Changeover day
Saturday is changeover day, arrive at 3pm. We will do everything we can to get you in and settled before this time and normally the lodge is available by midday. Departures by 10am. We request and appreciate the property is left reasonably clean and tidy.

Outside
Partly fenced grass garden with patio. For outdoor dining we provide garden cushioned chairs, table with umbrella and BBQ. The umbrella is ideal for protection from sun as the patio area is a sun trap. Fishing nets, buckets, 2 children surf boards, beach windbreak, and loads more are stored in the garden shed for guests to use. Outdoor clothes airer.
Coast/Beach
St. Merryn Holiday Village is conveniently located a couple of miles to beautiful sandy beaches. Surfing beaches operate life guards in the summer months. Many local unspoilt beaches such as tregirls and hawkers cove are peaceful and quiet even in the summer months. Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock are within easy reach. Coastal cliff walks with breathtaking panoramic views nearby.
Golf
There are a couple of golf courses nearby. Trevone has a magnificent 18 hole championship course.
Travel
Use of a car is essential, public transport is limited in this area. Exit at the first Bodmin exit called Kennards house A395, approximately a 40 minute drive from here. Flights from London, Bristol and Cardiff to Newquay airport.
Distances
5 min drive to nearest sandy beaches. 10 min drive to Padstow. 20 min drive to Newquay. 30 min drive to the Eden Project.
Further details
St. Merryn village is a short drive away and has a Spar shop, restaurant, pub, garage, local butcher and baker. Tesco supermarket is situated outside Padstow. Wadebridge is a larger market town and there are banks, pharmacies, supermarkets and a leisure centre with swimming pool.
Booking notes
Email for availability. Discounts are offered for couples only and for late bookings. 30% deposit is required to secure your holiday. We recommend travel insurance is purchased, the post office is very reasonable. Please read the standard terms from our website. Booking procedure, print and complete details on form and forward with deposit payment. A separate £60.00 returnable bond is required and sent with final balance payment six weks before arrival. Confirmation of booking will be sent asap.
