A special retreat, Maple Cottage is stylish, spacious and comfortable. Attached to the owners house, The Grade II Listed Georgian cottage retains character with stripped wood floors, thick walls and an original granite inglenook fireplace with a large wood-burner and is decorated with Farrow & Ball eco-friendly paint. The owners paintings adorn the walls and you may visit their nearby gallery & studios. Maple Cottage is situated in a beautiful area at the very head of the Lamorna Valley in the heart of West Cornwall. Beaches, the coastal path and ancient standing stones can be found nearby.

Rates for Short Breaks
Short breaks are available in low season. Prices for short breaks are worked out as follows:
3 nights - 70% of the weekly rent
4 nights - 75% of the weekly rent
5 nights - 80% of the weekly rent
6 nights - 90% of the weekly rent

Changeover day
Arrival/Departure day Friday. Arrival time after 2:00. Departure by 10:00. To arrange a short break or alternative holiday dates, please enquire, as these may be available outside the main holiday season.

Booking notes
To reserve Maple Cottage please email me. The cottage will be booked on receipt of your deposit, an amount one third of the total price, which will be advised by return email. Remainder to be paid by 6 weeks of start of holiday. Payment may be made by Cheque, Paypal or Bank transfer.

About the owner
Attracted by the inspiring landscape and the quality of light we moved to Cornwall from London over 20 years ago. My husband, Noel Betowski, has been a professional artist throughout this time. We are also musicians and perform locally.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We fell in love with the romantic, unspoilt and historic nature of this area that transports one back to a time gone by. Although situated in quiet rural area, it is only a five minute drive to the market town of Penzance and the sea.
