Tudor Cottage was built circa 1600 and Grade II listed with English Heritage. Set in one of the quaint narrow streets by the quayside of East Looe, you really get a cosy feeling when you open up the door of the cottage and step in. Looe is a vibrant, historic fishing port where one can choose from a host of activities including safe bathing from the golden sandy beach, rock pooling and whiling away the hours crabbing off the quayside and watching the local fisherman unloading the days catch. Many other water sports such as parascending, water skiing and surfing are available nearby. The coastline in this region is beautiful and is accessible by the scenic Cornwall South Coast Path. In addition, throughout the year Looe hosts a range of events including sailing regattas, a jazz festival, carnival week and even a duck race! New year at Looe is made really special with the whole town celebrating in fancy dress and fireworks at midnight off the beach.

Changeover day
Saturday changeover in high season. Changeover is flexible at other times subject to availability.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds, matching bedside tables, wardrobe and drawer space.
Bathrooms: Co-ordinating white bathroom suite with quality Mira power shower fitted above bath with glass shower screen. Original wooden floorboards, heated towel rail and vanity unit over pedestal wash hand basin.
Kitchen: Cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and iron. Newly refurbished luxury fitted kitchen with traditional oak dresser and solid oak worktops complimented by flagstone flooring. Full range of modern appliances.
Living Rooms: Ground floor dining room with solid wooden dining table and 6 chairs with original window seat, ceiling beams, traditional wood burning stove fitted in open fireplace and TV. First floor lounge with 2 twin sofas, TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, board games, DVD/CD's.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Real fire, central heating, house linen. Luxury white cotton bed linen provided in tariff and changed on a weekly basis. Cleaning on a weekly basis. Guests have emergency access to the property's manager. Towels available for hire at £2 per towel.

Notes on accommodation
Stair gates and latched doors are provided for the safety of young children. Smoke alarms installed, CO detector fitted to boiler, gas and electric appliances tested annually. No smoking allowed.

Tudor Cottage is 1 minute walk away from the safe, golden sandy beach of Looe, The beach has many rock-pools to explore and activities on the beach in high season. The picturesque quayside and harbour is also only a min walk from the cottage.

Golf courses can be found in the local area.

Special interest holidays
Looe has a National shark fishing centre with boats available for charter. Looe also has it's own sailing club and is host to various regattas throughout the year. The Eden Project is approx 30 min drive.

Travel
Nearest airport Plymouth 25 miles. Nearest Port Plymouth 20 miles. Looe train station is a 5 min walk from the cottage and links Looe to Liskeard (and the National network) via a lovely picturesque railway running along the river. Pay and display car parking is available (approx £15 to £24 per week depending on season) at the Millpond Car Park (5 min walk) with luggage drop off at the property on arrival and departure.

Looe town centre is less than one minutes walk and has a large variety of local shops, fresh fish market, boutiques, supermarket, greengrocers, Post Office, restaurants, cafes, traditional pubs and a Tourist Office. Various high street banks can be found. The cottage contains a wide range of tourist information and leaflets for days out and other leisure activities. Nearest bar/pub, various traditional pubs 0.5 mins. Nearest restaurant 0.5 mins.

When making an enquiry for availability please give desired arrival and departure dates, number of adults and children staying, a telephone contact number and email address.
When you wish to proceed a booking form will be emailed or posted as required. A deposit of £100 is due with the returned booking form. The remainder of the balance is required 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.
