Linden House is a ground floor garden apartment with its own private entrance and Beach Hut. Property is located just a few minutes from Stokes Bay Beach. It benefits from an ideal location being both near to the shops and 5 minutes from Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays via the Gosport Ferry. The double bedroom has a luxury double bed ensuring a comfortable stay with Egyptian cotton linen and soft luxury towels. It overlooks the private garden that only you have access to and is bright and airy with a double aspect view. The property has a spacious lounge and dining area with Wi-Fi, Flat Screen TV, Freeview, DVD Player, Music System, two sofas and dining room table and chairs. We offer a warm welcome which includes a luxury complimentary Welcome Hamper with wine, chocolates, speciality tea and coffee. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bikes as the apartment is next to a cycle track which leads down to the beach, a cycle storage shed is at the property. Beach Hut at Lee on Solent.

Changeover day
Normally check in day is on a Friday but this is flexible in Low Season. Check in time is available between 2-4pm. Check out is 10am but a later time can be arranged, depending on next guest's arrival day.

Linden House suits individuals and couples only, sorry not suitable for children. See our other property Park House which is ideal for families.

Outside
Private enclosed courtyard garden, with table, chairs and sun lounger. The garden is not shared with anyone else. It is a sun trap in the summer with a large oak tree providing shade in part of the garden.
Coast/Beach
You have the choice of two beaches. Stokes Bay Beach is just a few minutes from the property and enjoys an unspoilt coastline with wonderful views of the Isle of Wight. It is popular for sunbathing, sailing and windsurfing. Lee on Solent Beach is located a ten minute drive from the property, offering a variety of restaurants with many jetskiers and kitesurfers enjoying the facilities available.
Golf
Stokes Bay Golf Club 5 minutes from property, waterfront scenic views. Lee on Solent Golf Club 10 minute drive from property.
Travel
Southampton Airport 18 miles.
Portsmouth Harbour train station 1 mile.
International Ferry at Portsmouth.
Gosport Foot Ferry from Gosport to Ferry 1/2 mile.
The use of car is not essential as there is access to plenty of public transport.

Hampshire is a popular holiday area, with tourist attractions including its many seaside resorts, the maritime area in Portsmouth, and the motor museum at Beaulieu. The New Forest National Park lies within the borders, as does a large area of the South Downs which is also scheduled to become a National Park. Hampshire has a long maritime history and two of England's largest ports lie on its coast. The county is famed as home of the writers Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. Hampshire has a milder climate than most areas of the British Isles, being in the far south with the climate stabilising effect of the sea, but protected against the more extreme weather of the Atlantic coast. Stokes Bay Beach has a number of historical features including Fort Gilkicker and was the site for launching a large force for the D-Day landings, which are commemorated here.
