Hartford Court is a purpose built block of 10 holiday apartments. It has been built to a high specification and is clean and modern. We own 2 apartments in the block and have furnished them to a high standard. They are fully equipped as a home away from home and would suite a variety of people wanting comfortable self catering accommodation in central Bournemouth. One apartment has 2 bedrooms and the other 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The lounge, dining and kitchen area is open plan with modern appliances and a flat screen TV. Parking spaces are provided, public transport and shopping facilities are within easy reach. It is an ideal base from which to enjoy the seaside and explore the coastline and countryside of Dorset. There are an abundant range of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy such and walks, cycle routes and watersports as well as a large range of eating and shopping facilities.

Rental rates for short breaks of 3 days - flat 7 (2 beds) £110/night; flat 10 (3 beds) £120/night. For pricing on other rental periods, change over days or arrival/departure times (usually 3 pm arrival and 10am departure) please enquire from owners.

About the area
Bournemouth has several award winning sandy beaches and a surf reef near Boscombe Pier. Nearby Poole Harbour is popular for all types of watersports including windsurfing and kite surfing. There are numerous walks and tracks for mountain bikers in the beautiful countryside. The Pavilion on Bournemouth Pier as well as the International Centre offer a wide variety of evening entertainment. There is no shortage of activities for children of all ages such as adventure and water parks. Enjoy boat trips along the scenic Jurassic Coastline and wander in The New Forest or have days out to the many and varied tourist attractions and shops.
About the Owner
As Brian is retired from the police force and so has some time on his hands and as we had some money to spare, we decided to invest in a couple of holiday flats as a new venture for us in 2008.
We chose Bournemouth as we really like the City and scenic local area; the city reminds me of Durban in South Africa where I am from.
We chose Hartford Court as it a lovely new clean purpose built block and well located. As we and our friends and family enjoy holidaying there too, we decorated and equipped the flats to a high standard. My parents and young adult children and our previous guests testify to good times there (my parents love the bus stop on the door step and shopping and the children all the local activities, beach and food). I'm sure you will enjoy holidaying there too. Toni

Why this location?
Some of the things we enjoy about Bournemouth are that you can go for walks or cycle along the beach front and enjoy the sights and sound of families enjoying themselves. We also like the parks and open spaces which are kept particularly well by the local council. And of course we never return from Bournemouth without several purchases from the large array of different shops available! Lately we have had days out in the surrounding scenic areas, I had no idea there were so many beautiful and interesting places in the south of England. Sandbanks must be one of the best beaches we have been on in our many international travels;the jurassic coastline is fascinating as are the various seaside towns;ponies roaming in the new forest are really special to see.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Hartford Court is really conveniently situated as a base to holiday from as you can walk down to the beachfront and along into town, or with easy accessibility to the main roads travel by car anywhere quickly and without getting lost! It's also close to the central bus depot and railway station-within walking distance actually or a short taxi ride if preferred. The local bus service goes past the front door and there is a bus every few minutes to town and elsewhere, so you can just park the car up and use the bus-no traffic or parking problems then! Walking into town along Old Christchurch Road you will find a large selection of eating places and takeaways and a large supermarket is close by. The actual building is secure and has the advantage of disabled access and a lift too.
