Spacious, modern apartments sleeping 2/4 guests (1 & 2 bedroom apartments available) in York city centre, only minutes walk away from the central attractions including York Minster. Situated alongside the River Foss they occupy a secluded mews position & are equipped to 5* ETB standards. Some apartments have four poster king-sized beds, luxury fitted Villeroy & Boch bathrooms & individually fitted kitchen areas with all the built-in appliances required for modern living. The seating areas have large comfortable sofas & chairs to sink into whilst watching a late night movie on the TV or just enjoying a bottle of wine from the honesty bar. Guests will be welcomed on arrival with a bottle of champagne, basket of fresh fruit & the choice of either a full English or continental pastry breakfast which we serve on a platter for you to prepare in the apartment at your leisure.

Changeover day
We do not have a minimum stay (except at Christmas & New Year) or a specific changeover day, we are very flexible. Check in is from 2.30pm on the day of arrival. Check out on the day of departure is by 10.30am. Late check outs may be possible.

Apartment 2 is our 2 bedroom maisonette with a kitchen, utility room, lounge & WC on the ground floor, leading upstairs to two bedrooms (a large double & a twin room). The bathroom has a lovely free-standing bath with an overhead shower & is en-suite to both rooms. The apartment overlooks a mews courtyard.

The rate includes on site parking, a bottle of Champagne on arrival, a fruit basket & the choice of either a full English or continental pastry breakfast pack which you would prepare in the fully fitted kitchen at your leisure. There is also a fridge full of complimentary mixers, fruit juices, soft drinks, beers, milk etc & home-made bread, cereals, preserves, Whisky & Gin are also available in the room. All of these items are provided with our compliments. In addition we have an honesty wine rack – wine is £10 per bottle.

Our properties are accessed via a cobbled lane & courtyard with a small incline. We have a ramp to access our ground floor properties, in order to assist guests with restricted mobility. We have a deafguard for guests with hearing impairments. Please contact us if you wish to know more.

Our properties are situated along the river Foss in a small mews courtyard, with on site parking.

The nearest beaches are located at Whitby (1hr by car), Scarborough (50 mins by car) & Bridlington (50 mins by car).

The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford (50 mins by car).

Our apartments are located right in the City centre approx. 700 metres from York Minster & 200 metres from the Shambles.
National Railway Museum 2 miles, Jorvik Viking Centre 300 metres, Castle Museum 300 metres, City Walls 300 metres, York Boats 400 metres, York Maze 5 miles.
Castle Howard is 15 miles away, Harewood House 20 miles.
Harrogate is 25 miles away, Leeds 25 miles, Hull 45 miles.

There are a huge number of restaurants, wine bars, quaint pubs & beer gardens all within easy walking distance of our apartments. If you are looking for something special & just a little bit different, there is no better place to shop than in York. With its web of streets boasting an eclectic mix of designer labels, high street names, independent, & antique shops selling vintage jewellery, York will satisfy even the most demanding shopper. The Designer Outlet is just a short bus ride away, where you will find famous label fashion at great prices. A number of high street banks & large supermarkets are within walking distance of our apartments.

Booking notes
If you would like to go ahead with a reservation please contact us to confirm availability & make the reservation. At which point we would simply require a £50 deposit per apartment per night to secure the booking. The deposit is refundable up to 48 hrs in advance of check in, which is from 2.30pm on the day of arrival.
