White Sails Cottage. This spacious cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is located in the heart of the historic harbour area in Seahouses. The cottage, which was recently run as a bed and breakfast enjoys gas central heating, double glazing and has recently been completely re-decorated and re-furnished to a high standard. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people (3 bedrooms, two en-suite ). Downstairs is a lounge with large sofas and coffee table. This comfortable and spacious room has a flat screen TV, DVD as well as a CD player and radio. The kitchen extends into a dining area with open fire (some logs provided), where there is another small TV. There is off-street parking to the rear of the cottage. Centrally located, the cottage is only a very short walk to the town centre, harbour and local pub!

Notes on accommodation
The cottage itself built in 1834 backs onto one of the many famous ‘Herring Yards’ in Seahouses. The yard now provides parking space. The cottage is one of only a handful of properties benefiting from gas central heating in the village. There is a Colour TV, DVD player, video and CD/radio. Also a selection of board games and books are provided.

There is off road parking and a shared yard to the rear of the cottage.

There are lots of golf courses within a few miles of Seahouses village, including Seahouses Golf Club, which is only a short walk from the cottage. The links courses at nearby Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh golf courses offer superb views.

Ideal for walking all year round. Ideal base for geologists and bird watchers as access to the Farne Islands is from Seahouses Harbour.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
The cottage is available to rent on a weekly basis all year round. Short breaks are also available off-peak. A non-refundable deposit of one third or a minimum of £100 is required to secure a booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday.
