The Cob is a beautifully converted Cornish barn in a rural location but only one mile from Polzeath Beach and two miles from Rock. As some describe it "far from the maddening crowd" but with fantastic access to all the local areas of interest ie: the beaches! With two double bedrooms it is perfect for a family of up to 5 or two couples. The Cob is set to one side from Treglines where we live but has a totally private access / entrance and we are never aware of guests staying. House trained dogs are welcome with the proviso that they are not left in the cottage alone.

Changeover day
Saturday is changeover day. Changing to Friday in July 2012. In low season can be negotiable.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has a King double bed facing floor to ceiling double doors opening out to amazing views across fields and the crooked spire of St Minver village church. Bedroom 2 has a raised double cabin bed. Room underneath for a single mattress for a child. |

Accessibility
Recommended that wheelchair users contact the owners prior to making a booking. The Cob is all on one level and all doors are one metre wide, so it is generally well adapted for people with mobility problems but there are a couple of steps to enter the Cob.
Outside
The grounds of Treglines extend to over an acre and there is shared use of the traditional walled farmstead garden. There is a trampoline within this area for use by guests. Garden table and chairs and barbecue are provided.
Coast/Beach
The famous Polzeath Beach is one mile away by car and a 20 minute walk across Roserrow Golf Course. This beach is world famous for surfers. Rock is 2 miles away where you can catch the ferry across to Padstow. In Rock there is the Rock Sailing Club and Camel Ski School for water skiing etc. Amazing coastal walks along to Port Isaac and Tintagel beyond. The Camel Trail covers huge areas of North Cornwall for those who like to travel by bicycle.
Golf
The famous St. Enodoc Golf Course situated on the banks of the Camel estuary is 5 minutes away and is reputed to be one of the best in the West of England. Two 18-hole courses provide magnificent views across the estuary with a resident professional available if required. There are several other golf courses in the area including; Roserrow Golf and Country Club which is half a mile up the hill and at Camelford (Bowood Park), and at St. Kew (9 holes - pay and play).
Travel
Newquay Airport is a 30 minute drive.
Bodmin Railway Station is a 30 minute drive.
Exeter Parkway Station is one and a half hours drive.
Plymouth is one hours drive.
Distances
Wadebridge is the local town and 15 minutes away.
Truro is 50 minutes away.
Exeter is an hour and a half away.

Deposit of 50% to be made on confirmation of booking. Further 50% to be paid 4 week before arrival.
