Stancombe Manor is a small hamlet of properties set within 21 acres of an idyllic Devon valley in the heart of the beautiful South Hams between Salcombe and Dartmouth. This area of is best known for its peaceful rolling countryside, outstanding coastal walks and beatiful beaches. The original stone buildings of the Stancombe Estate have been converted into holiday accommodation. There are eight stone-built cottages that make up the beautifully converted Tythe Barn. Snowdrop is positioned on the 1st floor of the Tythe Barn and has two twin bedrooms plus a wall hung cupboard housing a full double bed. There is also room for a fold-up bed in the twin room. Facilities on the Estate include a indoor heated swimming pool, full size wood panelled snooker room, games room, tennis court, pitch and putt and outdoor play area which makes this an ideal year round holiday destination. Rated by English Tourist Board - 3 Stars.

Distances
The nearby village of Sherford (picturesque old cottages and farmhouses) is a delightful village which runs along a country lane, about 1 mile from Frogmore Creek and the A379 Kingsbridge/Dartmouth Road. The neighbouring village of Frogmore has an excellent bakery/village shop/postoffice and a pub (about 1.5 miles from Stancombe). The picturesque town of Salcombe and the navel town of Dartmouth are both about 10 miles away.
